So I popped into Direct Mazda today to check them out and discuss some business ( I run my own metal recycling business) with the service manager there. Very down to earth guy and friendly. Also met with the parts manager Eugene. Both seem like great guys and although I have no experience with getting my car serviced there I would not hesistate to give them a try judging by first impressions.
FYI they are just down the street from Meadowvale Honda ( old Mississauga Mazda) and just opened officially today.
Just thought I'd share some thoughts on them.
Cheers!

I'm pretty sure Direct Mazda is in no way affiliated with Miss Mazda. I guess Miss Mazda didn't do very well. Not sure how Kenny would have access to Mazda parts still either! Sorry. haha

Mississauga Mazda was turned into the honda dealership but the owners of that dealership also own a few other Mazdas. That is where he gets his parts

The fellow the owned Mississauga Mazda sold the building to a group who were suposed to keep going with Mazda. Once they had the building they brought in Honda. Direct Mazda is now owned by a new group who also own dealership in the Hamilton area.

Direct Mazda Is not Affiliated with Mississauga Mazda in anyway. Mississauga Mazda is Owned buy the Dilawri Group (which are a bunch of scammers and penny pinchers, Ive worked for them) Direct Mazda is owned by Chiva Auto Group.

Direct Mazda is getting annoying.
I booked an oil change appt with them late last year and I had the first slot of the day. I showed up about 10 mins early and they didn't even come out and get the car until 25 minutes after the appointed time. Guess who was late for work.
I figured it might be a one-off so I went there again recently for another oil change, same first-of-the-day appointment. I came in again about 10 mins early and announced myself and the woman at the service desk apparently ignored me for a couple of minutes, just typing away on the computer while I stood in front of the counter, and then she finally took my keys and stuff. They were only 20 minutes late getting the car this time but they didn't even provide the checklist printout that you normally get. And guess who was late to work again.
This is not serious stuff but it really annoys people and creates a bad impression of the overall operation and how much they (don't) care about what they're doing. I looked for some kind of postal address where I would write the owner to politely complain but I couldn't find anything. :(
What's more annoying is that the other two dealerships in Mississauga are owned by the Delawri group, which is reputed in this thread to have some really bad and scam-like service.

Will be going to this dealership for my 8K service.
I'm at 2K+ right now, and everyone is telling me to have my oil change before the 8K? =|
Anyways, how's the service at Direct Mazda?
I actually went in there to buy my Mazda3, and the receptionist was pretty attentive (late in the day)

Hmm... that doesn't make sense because I've always been told that the first oil change should not be done too early because of all the metal shavings, dirt/crap/etc. that a new engine creates when it's being broken in, so it's better to get it flushed out in one fell swoop rather than several different oil changes. That's what I've been told anyway.

You bought your car at Direct Mazda? So did I, except mine was used. I was dealing with Mohammad... seemed to be a straight forward enough guy. Overall a decently pleasant experience. I didn't like the sales manager or the business manager, the first never even said a word to me while the latter had this way of looking down on you while giving me the polite facade.
Anyway, if you really don't like any of the Mazda dealerships and their so-called service, you can bring your car to any certified independent mechanic (preferably one that you know and trust) and just ask for an itemized list of things which were done to the car. As long as that list matches up with the service intervals specified by Mazda in your owner's manual, that is sufficient enough to act as proof that maintenance was done. I'm almost 100% positive that any future warranty claims cannot be denied based on which mechanic you brought your car to, as long as said mechanic was certified.
