For members who reside in sauga or somewhere else we can setup a day either at Yorkdale or in sauga i'm not sure where you guys usually meet in sauga but i will take recomendations

We can setup a sauga/yorkdale meet at either 12pm this sunday, or something later on in the evening at around 8pm

Takes about twenty minutes, tops! I actually test-installed mine and took it back out... I only removed it because I am going to extend the MAF harness rather than unclip the wiring harness from the battery box.....

Dixie and Amico would be the best place for west end since it's a regular meeting place for most of us. Check out the Masiv Monday threads for maps and location.

I installed them last night in my driveway but fixed things this morning since I had to find a place for the ballasts. The tabs on the H11 bulbs may need some clipping ( about 1-2mm of the end of one tab). I have after market fog housings so they may fit properly if you have OEM housings.

About a 30min install with removing the bumper.

Well you can try picking up some yellow lamin-x. I know Mleblond is going to do a yellow lamin-x gb cuz i recall him saying he ordered a roll. You can be the first to try the 6000k + yellow overlay lol. I chickened out and just went with 3000k

If you guys own a 04-06, then you'll have to deal with the DRL being on your lowbeams. Therefore it is not a plug and play install. You're better off getting a shop to do it or McGuyver (Dan).

Its a straight forward plug and play install for you then. A handy guy like you should be able to handle this.

yep it's good doing it by yourself. took me 1.5hrs to install it yesterday. the first one was a bitch!! but the other side it went in smoothly :)

i have a dozen minor cuts on my hands but heck, its rewarding! i can now say I know how to install HIDs! :bana lol

1. remove bulbs which HID's are to replace
2. connect relay harness (everything to be done on driver side of the engine bay)
a)take fuse out of fuse holder, red wire to + battery terminal
b)black wire to car body for ground
c)connect female relay connector to the the male connector of
the car which you removed your halogen bulb in step 1
(the metal prongs from the connector on the relay harness may be
loose and need adjusting to have lights work)
3. install HID bulbs into light housings
4. connect ballast/igniters to the remaining connectors of the relay and other end to the bulbs.

If you are installing your HID's as the fogs, removing the bumper will make it easier to mount your ballasts.

The caps inside the OEM fog housing were a PITA. Not exactly plugNplay, had to rip em out for the H11's to fit. It's not just breaking them off but crushing them without breaking the fog housing because they don't fit the H11 opening. If anyone has a better way of doing this, please post.

Do it by yourself it's very easy..you're doing your low beam right? So don't worry about the DRL because you have '08 model. I've installed mine yesterday and it took me an hour...and for the spacer I used the drain plug and it works..:)

Oh btw, my fogs are Lamin-X wrapped in yellow. Initial burn looks lime green then becomes a nice lemon yellow after.
