ummmmm, so the fact that this fight was even approved is beyond me. I dont know how anyone can bring themselves to fight an amputee. This could have pretty much been a public beat down. Why did the "fight" even last this long?

I admire Maynards ambition and drive but let's be serious here. You can't even intelligently defend yourself at any point since you don't have arms or legs.

I think this is more of a exhibition fight or amateur showcase. He certainly wouldn't be considered in any professional organizations considering he can't strike or use any submissions. :loco

His opponent could have stopped him at anytime...Maynard couldn't do anything but charge like a little bull. What could he possibly do offensively?

This was just to entertain the crowd, you can hear the people chuckling and laughing at him.....pretty sad entertainment IMO

I agree it was pretty sad entertainment.

I think his "opponent" was afraid to hit him, I would be too. It just wouldn't be right.

That looked like a dog running back and forth. I think the only way he could win is if the opponent threw out his back from hunching over so much. Don't really see the purpose though I admire his tenacity.

Sad. However, watching this could only make me think of two things. First, the 'Black Knight' portion of Python's Holy Grail. Second, the 'Cripple Fight' episode of Southpark where Jimmy and Timm-ehhhh beat the crap out of each other.

I know it's wrong, but like midget porn, it's fascinating to watch. Right Fang? :chuckle
