Don't forget U.S. and Canada have different regulations when it comes to vehicle safety.

Hmmmm, I went to the safecar.gov website, but can't find out whether my car is affected. I've got a 09 Sport.

I'm assuming they will eventually announce the range of VIN #'s that it will affect?

hey i just bought a 2009 mazda 3 sedan gt. it is fully loaded (has the bose sound system but no navigation) has ebfd and abs but i'm wondering if it has the stability control. are the 2009's in canada different than the 2009s in the states. the resdesign in canada are the 2010's. i like the look of the old one so i bought a 2009 (or so the dealer claims). i'm going to pick it up tomorrow, i'm just wondering does it have stability control (dsc)? really hoping some one can help me, first time joining a forum and i don't know exactly how this works. thanks.

First clue was that the 09 didn't come with Dynamic Stability Control in Canada.
