I saw this at Canadian Tire and wanted to know if anyone's tried it. Looks like a real simple way to dry the car and it works well with wet waxes without scratching the paint.

I wouldn't be dragging anything like that over my paint anytime.

If anything at all got on there in between passes you could end up with some serious issues.

Just my $0.02.

They're great for wiping down the side of a boat - so unless your car is made of fiberglass and gelcoat, I'd probably just use it on your windows! :)

Don't do it man. That shit just drags any sediment across the car's paint

But if you insist on buying something of the sort...might as well buy a 13" wiper blade

fifth gear reviewed auto cloth wash, hand wash and broom wash. for the hand wash, they used a similar product and it effed up the paint big time.

I feel sorry for anyone who uses this product. Decent idea but horrible execution.

if you wash the car properly and make sure the blade is clean before you start it works fine. I worked at a BMW dealership that used these before the chamois or for cars that were just going out on a test drive (ya the rich people want their cars washed before they try them). There was never any damage. Then again, the guys doing the washing were making $20/hour, so they took care.

Yeah I have to second that ... if the car was washed properly and you keep the blade clean and don't do stupid things like smash it into your mirrors you will be fine. For everyone who is screaming about how it will scratch your paint don't kid yourselves same goes for a chamois. The same dirt that you would be dragging across w/ the water blade has to go somewhere...aka into the chamois. Just take care to wash properly and ensure all your tools/towels are completely clean and you can pretty well do whatever you like from there!
