Can we do a Redline Goods GB?

I think the Mazda3forums have done that few months ago for $82 (shift and ebrake boots + armrest cover) ... pretty good price.

You can always get discounts from them. I believe they post discount codes on m3f. I managed to snag a shift boot and ebrake boot for $67 (iirc).

Yoda?! LOL

Anyway, I might just order if I can find a valid 10% discount code to go on top of the discount they currently have on their site.

+1, looking for a ebrake boot and armrest. Installing a faux shift boot on an auto is pretty........:p

Yep, it just expired, but I tested it and you get a pop up window that say it expired but they will still give you 5% off! Code is 7B0E48EK1V2, but keep an eye on this thread (they post new codes every month): http://www.mazda3forums.com/index.php?topic=145055.msg3676599#msg3676599

My ebrake boot arrived today. Took about 2 and a half weeks from Poland. It's a well made product and matches the shift boot leather really well. Fits a little on the tight side. Now i need the carbon shift knob and ebrake handle form the mazdaspeed miata.

yup, i'm waiting for a groupbuy too.

does anyone know if it's possible to order the console cover the size that's with the extra padding but not to pay for it. i'm planning to fill it myself with polyester or foam or wahtever so i want the one thats the larger size. I don't want any padding in it, just the larger leather cover.

when i install my redline goods ebrake boot, am i supposed to remove the rubber/plastic boot that's comes OEM?

in the instructions on redlinegoods.com, it says: 8. Simply put the new boot in place and put everything back together. You will need to remove the top trim piece from the old boot and install it on the new one as well.

what is this top trim piece from the old boot?

I just slipped the cover over the stock one w/o removing anything.

The instructions aren't really clear, but step 8 is for the shift boot. Weird because step 7 is for the ebrake, but 8 and 9 are for the shifter. For step 8 you are supposed to remove the plastic ring inside the OEM shift boot and glue it into the redline goods boot. Like Chris said, just slip the ebrake boot over your stock brake handle. No need to remove or modify anything.
