Wonder how to keep stock clock display with aftermarket radio and dash kit

i cant seem to find it on the search but does anyone know how to wiring the clock screen to an after market deck??

million dollar question right there. There are a few members working on a seperate unit that would allow u to keep the info display functionality but no full out answers yet i dont think. If you buy a metra kit you can keep the display but it will only display 1 option on the right hand side, and the ambient temp on the other, which cant be changed once the stock unit is removed.

basically you just keep the lcd hooked up while u install the aftermarket stereo to make sure ur clock doesnt reset on you and screw it into the metra kit which has mounting points for the lcd screen.
