What's the opposite of murdered out?

I see everyone with black cars going all black. But I'm not a big fan of blacked out tails and emblems. So I was thinking about going all white. I guess it would be called "frosted out"? Anyways, what are peoples' thoughts on this? Think it will look good? Or would that just be asking for trouble with the cops? Was hoping to post some pics but I don't have Photoshop installed, so it might have to wait. Is it worth investigating?

Well, I've already tinted my windows black. And I'm not sure how much trouble white tints would cause, so I think I'll hold off on tints for now. But I was thinking of smoking my tails, but I don't like the look of black tails all that much. So I was thinking about tinting/"smoking" them white, and same for my headlights. My big concern is tinting my headlights white, I'm wondering if that's going to cause too much trouble—policewise that is. I was thinking of also doing what chunks did to his car (I think it's chunks); and paint my window trim and b-pillars white too.

if its like the previous gen 3's it will be a vinyl overlay and if you peel it off their will be white paint underneath. I removed it on my 05 3 and had it grey

dave, dont tint your tailights white....get those aftermarket LED tails with the black housing like Jon. they look supper clean and would blend in amazing with your white rims. I thought about white rx-8 rims but soon realised it would be waaaaaaay too much to clean.

I have everything white on mine, the reflectors, the emblems, all my stickers are white....Looks pretty awesome!

Peter had some highlighter yellow rims in stock at one point this summer...I believe they were Works...Holy crap they were awesome!

Yeah, getting the paint to match is key. I think I'm going to need a new paint job, so I may get the Kai's repainted at the same time.

I don't think I'm going to whiteout the emblems, not a huge fan of that. It looks nice on Pearl's car, but I really like the chrome accents. I do need to get my mirrors painted fully white, maybe even the black triangle where it attaches to the door.

I think if I do my tails, I'll spray paint them instead of vinyl. That way it should be as simple as soaking them in paint remover if I want to go back to stock.

I like the white RX-8's, but can't decide if I should do something different for a winter colour since my summers are white. However, I did buy two cans of white plastidip and two cans of black; so I guess I could experiment with them—do two wheels of each colour and see.

Should I do white calipers? Or would that be a bit too much? I was thinking of doing gold or bronze calipers. Or maybe a metallic green, teal, or purple, with matching lug nuts.
