Folks,
i am planning to take my car for wash. I am told the esso at 150 dupont is Touchless and without rails.
can any of you confirm that?
It'd be a good 10km+ drive from my place...so i wanted to be sure if it is without rail.
Also any opinion if that is a goor wash place or not?
Any inputs for any other good wash without rails in toronto area? if it is in North York, it'd be better
Thanks

I go to the Esso near Dufferin and finch, also a touchless carwash with no rails, its OK....although its not spotless cleaning. Good for lazy people :)

just to avoid washing myself in this cold :)
i have RA mudflaps...i hope that should not have any issue in those washes.
Does the Finch n Dufferin one has a bump towards the end of the wash?
I am told few esso washes have a big bump towards the end...which causes some menace.

No bumps
i would advise against using a touchless carwash. The spray underneath cleans out any oil spray you have had done to the car, and the power of the touchless will slowly wreck the seals around the windows. Im sure there are numerous other issues with touchless but those are just a couple.

i hear you. But how do you suggest to get my car clean in this cold weather? i want to look it cleanish if not spotless (for now) and wash off any salt underneath.
I stay in a condo, thus have no access to my own driveway wash benefits.
Coin-op would be pretty chilly :(

Bring it to a detailer....might cost more, but hey...its worth it.

Man up and put some gloves on. I personally do it with a set of gloves, jacket, and boots

What location in North York do you prefer? I know Shell station between Weston/Finch.
