Hello guys

I'll be getting my downpipe in a week or 2 so i'll be Stage 2 soon!!! (Finally~~~)

Just wondering what should be next on my list after DP, was thinking ant FMIC, but is there any benefit if I stay with stock turbo?
BTW, i have CPE TMIC.

Thanks in advance

FMIC is always a good consideration. You eliminate heat soak from the stock TMIC being on top of the hot engine. Benefits of the FMIC are noticeable if you have been sitting in traffic or idling for whatever reason. Downside would be slightly more turbo lag but thats not much of an issue on stock turbo.

Also, i may be interested in your CP-e TMIC

Thanks for the reply. However there will be noticeable lag right?

Sorry i edited that last post... There may be some but the K04 spools so efficiently I wouldn't be overly concerned.

Won't the "smile" on the pu hide the fmic?

Snot, you should get a cp-e tmic...they're good

i asked same question to jimmy when i was at his shop. he recommend to stay with TMIC instead OF FMIC. also, its better to upgrade the HFPF.

Pfffft, buy the AutoExe front bumper (cuz, well, it's cheap) and you're set.

I guess it's not really worth the extra 1K for a FMIC...

@gar_lei: seeing that noone has objected to this I think its safe to say stick with the TMIC with the stock k04

Like I said depends on what you are doing and where you primarily drive.

well...

do you just want a front mount for looks maybe? and to have a different setup?

have you been watching your IAT and BAT and decided they are too high for your liking?

have you wrapped your exhaust/downpipe and blanketed your turbo?

have you done anything else to keep underhood temps down?

stick with tmic or an upgraded tmic until you turbo upgrade
