This shop is located on Oakdale Rd near Hwy 400 and Finch very close to my work so it was very convenient for me. I took a set of tires in for them to mount for me. Left my keys and walked back to my office. Shortly after I got back to work, I realized that I left my phone in the car (iPhone 4) so I walked over hoping that the car had't gone into the back yet. Got there and my car wasn't in front any more so I walked iinto the shop and told them I forgot my phone. They let me into the garage and I went to get my phone .... AND IT'S GONE !!!!!!!!!!!!

Only 1 guy had been in my car the whole time and it was a young punk that just started there so I knew that it had to be him. All they did was ask everyone if anyonbe took my phone ... like they are gonna fess up to it !! They basically did nothing and refused to even try to do anything so I called the cops and they came and took a report and checked the store video but could not find anything that showed the kid taking the phone so could not charge him with anything.

The guys in front just kinda shurugged and said "People are always accusing us of stealing stuff from their cras but they can't prove anything".

DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE !!!!!!!! THEY'LL RIP YOU OFF AND NOT CARE EVEN WHEN IT HAPPENS.

Wow, that sucks bro.

I don't wanna hijack your thread, but did you look elsewhere i.e. in your office.

If it was actually taken/stolen from your car, that is not very cool and unprofessional :flaming:flaming. I've been to that place to check out some wheels.
Sorry that this happen.

If you have the "Find my iPhone" app, you can go on iCloud and it'll find your iPhone later on if he tries to connect it to the internet since it's based off of serial numbers I believe.

I've left my phone at home a few times now rushing to get to class on time, but once I get to class I quickly hop onto the iCloud website and make sure it's actually still at home and not MIA :chuckle

report them to Better Business Bureau

go to the apple store or your provider. maybe they can block the phone from the network somehow?

there must be something you can do.
