Does anyone know where I can buy Rain-x Fusion wipers in Canada?

I've heard these are a lot better than the Latitudes that are sold in Walmart but I can't seem to find them anywhere!

I can order from Amazon.com but shipping costs are almost equal to the cost of the wiper :(

Just picked up a set myself from G16. Check out their site; it's there.

EDIT: Sorry, didn't mean to leave out the other sponsors. I only said G16 since I know first-hand they've got some in stock right now. I'm sure a bunch of our other sponsors have them too.

I prefer the Sillblade's from lockdown. 5 year exchange warranty directly from Lockdown.

sillblade is the best out there. but expensiiiiiiiive. i personally have the bosch evolution and i like them. nothing special and lasts for about a year. and they got a one year warranty so you can get a second set for free for the next year wen you trade them in.

how much do you pay for the Bosch blades? I bet if you add what you spend in cost of Bosch blades over five years, it will be more than a single set of Sillblades.

true, but ive had 2 friends who couldnt get the warranty...its always some sort of excuse. theyre site says they warrant "warrants SilbladeŽ, UltraSilbladeŽ, Flexblade™, Rear Blades to be free from defects in workmanship and materials under normal use for a period of 5 years from date of purchase". while they dont warrant " damage resulting from acts of nature, misuse, abuse, neglect, alteration, modification and improper installation."
i had 2 friends of mine spend big money on them and baby them, after 3-5 years (one blade before another) they started to streak but they wouldnt warrant them because they said they misused them "when the windshield was dry/dirty or iced up" and "didnt maintain them properly". They spray the windshield before wiping and clear the ice before going. they clean them once every month when they see gunk on them and start to streak a bit. so when they started to permanently streaking they didnt get warranty replacements.

i really wanted to get a set but after hearing about my friends problems with warranty. i thought it would be better to just get something else... the wiper itself is A++++ and beyond though. but a major selling point was that warranty. while mine only has a one year warranty. they are guaranteed to replace them no matter what happens to them in person. my :.02

i will probably get the silblades as my next set after im done with my warranty on my current wipers. will lockdown replace under warranty? if so im all in. if i spend $20 -$30 dollars more and have them last 3-4 years like my friends even without warranty. it would still be a good investment.

my bosch revolutions cost me about $40 for both. while the silblades would cost me $76 and up for both

just get Denso Designer blades... they make their own wiper blades, Japanese made, high quality and those are what comes in the cx-5/new 6... except you can now buy them aftermarket in the 19"/21" sizes we need for the genwons :D
they also make "beam style" blades... the euro style blades that work great as winter blades... the same frameless style blade you see in euro cars

in case anyone is interested in the Denso blades... part numbers:
19": 160-3119
21": 160-3121
24": 160-3124

since these things are expensive, you can replace the rubber when they are worn out... go to a Honda dealer and order:
76632-TA0-A02 for 19"
76622-SZT-A01 for 21"
if you need 24", then order GS3L-67-333 from your Mazda dealer

if you have trouble finding these Denso aftermarket blades, you can get the 21" one off a 2011 CR-Z (part # 76622-SZT-A01) and a 19" off a 2011 Accord (part # 76630-TA0-A01)... both passenger side blades of those cars
the 24" blade can be found on the 2009 Subaru Forester (part # 86542-SC110), and 2009 Mazda6 (part # GS3L-67-330A)... getting these blades from the dealers may cost more!

http://a.d-cd.net/b03f68u/480.jpg (http://a.d-cd.net/b03f68u/960.jpg)

As I said, these are stock on many new cars... most Lexus have them now, many Hondas and Toyotas do too... they are high quality, have a much better, stronger, low profile mounting point... most hybrid wiper blades in this style have a bulky mounting point that sticks up higher which is ugly and may cause wiping/fitment issues.... the Rain-X Fusions are among the best in mounting and their mounting design and overall quality of the mounting frame still can't beat Denso's (I'm a firm believer in getting what you pay for; the Densos cost more and they don't have visible holes on the side where the mounting clip is)... don't be fooled by the Rain-X Fusions either... they don't have that stuff that rubs off onto the glass that makes the famous water beading their brand is about... only their Repel blades do that according to their website... the only way around this is are the PIAA Forza Hybrids but they don't have the 19" or 21" sizes! :rant

so the choice was clear for me... I just ordered a pair of these Densos myself... I've been waiting a very long time for quality wiper blades that have an economical ownership (replaceable rubber strips which are a fraction the price of the entire blade)... Denso just came out with these sometime this year to the aftermarket, and nothing until recently used the 19" and 21" sizes making it impossible to upgrade to these kinds of blades until now

I get the cheapest 7 dollar wipers every fall and spring. Total cost: 28 bucks a year. Always new, rubber is always supple, and never had a streaking problem.

lots of landfill waste though
wiper refills are only $5 a blade (sometimes less depending on type of blade) if you know where to look... no need to toss the wiper, less waste... rubber rots away in the landfill eventually... more "green", less money spent :)

good quality blades last much longer and wipes much better from the get go

ive had my rear wiper blade for as long as ive had the car. just put some new rubber on it. the dealer wants a stupid amount for just the wiper
