The supras had some good runs at tx2k13.

As long as the trucks are built better. The dodge cummins turbo diesel was a great engine. The truck on the other hand was horrible. 7 transmissions in 6 years. Full brake job every oil change.
The engine was to much for the truck.

Btw. This was a 96 purchased new.

front ends can't take the pounding weight of the diesel...the auto trannies suck as u said in them....rear fender rot and back of the cab rott what? haha

the new 6.7's are a tad touchy with all the emissions stuff...dpf's etc....
our shop truck threw 6 injectors/lift pump brand new...no warranty.....but that was a bit of a special situation...pay attention to the WIF light...lol

Rot is actually the only thing that wasn't wrong with that truck.

For the trannies I should have been more specific. 7 trannies in the last 2 years. All dealer replaced. To get the truck to stop blowing the trannies we had to stop getting the 4wd version. That truck was a lemon from day one.

very strange, pretty much any dodge truck youll see the fender and cab rot..you got lucky lol
id love one myself, but preference to the older 5.9's, 12v more specifically....hard to find not beat to piss, lol

If I'm not mistaken that's what I had.

96 ram 2500 cummins Tdiesel
Long box, extended cab.

I honestly don't remember. We got rid of it in 2000.
Traded it for another dodge lemon that didn't last us a year before problems started.
