audi was kind enough to offer a once in a lifetime experience for those who are no longer within warranty. probably used to distract the owners from the massive repair bill they might be getting :chuckle

" this is my dream car" <-- officer who pulled them over.

You sure that's why you pulled them over.... I mean the car does have a big blue light bar on it :chuckle

But damn every dealership should do this once in a while with one of their flagship cars.I wonder what Mazda would use....

A new 6 I would guess. Not as nice as a R8 though. :D

And how did this affect the persons service on their out of warranty vehicle?? I don't get it. They're going to thank Audi for the ass raping just because they got a ride to their office in an r8 v10 (might be the plus)?

If what my friend tells me is true about the quality of their cars, I would've demanded at least to have this car as a loaner for the week!
That would've been the least they can do!
if all it takes is a ride in an r8 to continue getting raped at the service department, Audi sure knows their clientele. Lol

I guess so.. I don't see how this is going to sway anyone's purchase of a vehicle they already own and don't want to spend on a new one. Which is why I said all it takes to keep these customers happy is a shuttle to their work in an Audi R8?? Do they come pick them up too when their vehicle is done??

You don't quite get it do you

what if customer is driving an r8 already

Well, they wouldn't give you a ride in the R8. This "special" shuttle is only for those with old Audi's and severely out of warranty. I seriously doubt any R8 owners are currently out of warranty.
