I got my 3 - 4door GT w/GFX about 5 weeks ago now, in the titanium grey, and to sum it up, I absolutely love it!
The styling is incredible and the interior is very cool too. But the thing that sold me was the handling of the car and the power under the hood for this compact car. You have to drive one to believe how well this car is built. No wonder it won so many awards. Hopefully there will be some engine mods coming out soon for the 2.3 Litre. So far I got tints and HIDs. My next step would be to lower it and wait for an exhaust and intake to come out!
I have no dislikes about the 3.
Zoom Zoom. :p

Everything is pretty good. I just don\'t like the fact that the stereo is built into the dash. Makes it more difficult to customize the system.

Totally agree with you. I\'m happy with the system for now. Hopefully by the time I want to change it some company will have already come out with a fabricated replacement panel. Maybe they have something in Japan already, if this car has been out there for a year already????

The stereo was the third mod I did to my 3. The tint was put on two days later, the wheels and tires were swapped out a week after that and the stereo was done shortly after that. My dad has the same car but in red and without leather, I cringe everytime I hear his stereo, it sounds so flat and muffled. Now my dad is jealous...Snickers too.
The integrated stereo wasn\'t that much of a concern to me, I wanted to keep it stock looking this way I wouldn\'t loose the steering wheel controls or the LCD readout/clock once I installed an aftermarket HU. Also, there currently isn\'t a \"faceplate adapter\" that one can easily install to cover the hole left by installing an aftermarket HU, you\'d have to make it custom which means $$$. Right now the only annoying thing about the stereo is the beep when you press a button. Sure you can defeat that but I\'d rather have a quieter beep.
I swapped out the front 6x8 and tweeters for a pair of Alpine SPX-177a 6.5\" component speakers. The rear 6x8 went too and in their place I install a pair of Alpine SPR-134 (I think) coaxial speakers. All four speakers run off of an Alpine 4 channel amp. The 10\" Alpine Type-R sub in the trunk runs off of an Alpine mono amp. I usually mix and match components, but I\'ve had Alpine headunits in the past and wanted to try out their other components.

Add me to the jealous list. No money for an HU. If anything some how add a sub to the factory deck. I know cheese. The only thing I\'m considering is a tint, so look forward to meeting others to see what their tint jobs look like.
