Hey everyone, with the active thread on where to buy stubby antannas, I thought I would share my new one (Got it off of ebay):

This antanna is adjustable, but not like I originally thought it would be. You unscrew the top aluminium cap and unscrew the black stick. The antanna comes with 3 stick sizes.

As you can see, the antanna is quite small compared to the stock one:

Here it is at it\'s shortest legnth:

Medium Legnth:

And at it\'s longest legnth:

And compared to the stock antanna Short, Medium and Long (in order):

The antanna also comes with adapter screws so that it fits perfectly into the base. Of all the legnths, the middle one seems to look the best.

And finally, with the antanna installed, my car looks mint.

hmmm lots of people tell me they see red x\'s.. but if they refresh the page, I have been told that it works.

These images are also available at www.xenons3.tk, under the album \"Miscellaneous Pictures\".

Is there any degradation or improvement of radio signal??

I\'ve been thinking of adding one to my M3

(I use the medium legnth)

Yes, there is a slight degration... The signal isnt\' as strong, but when the signal does come in, it\'s still crystal clear.

There is a noticable difference in stregnth, but it\'s very minimal. I won\'t have problem It gets a LITTLE staticy when going through bridges or wires, but nothing major at all.

I\'m actually quite impressed, I thought it would really degrade it and I\'d have to keep the antenna long, but at medium legnth it\'s pretty good.

The short legnth is alright, but I listen to the radio enough to want to keep it at the medium legnth.

I rate this product 5/5. The distortion (as I said before) is quite minimal.

Well I\'ve refreshed about 15 times and got to see 2 images. And in that album I can see the last 2 pictures. It keeps saying all the others are movies.

It\'s almost making me not want to try anymore.

Looks good though :)

Weird... I see all of them, and i have asked people over MSN, they say they can see all of them

If you people don\'t mind signing up for ImageStation, you can view these pictures at http://www.xenons3.tk. They are listed under the Miscellaneous Pictures Album.

Thanks Xenon...

I\'m still undecided whether to grab one or not :)

I\'ve been so busy lately with work and other stuff that I haven\'t had much time to spend or invest on my baby - Hopefully that will change soon...

I really like that on your car.. Very sharp, and makes a total difference..
I am thinking of getting the silver one that is sleek cone style... If there really is no huge problem with the signal then I dont think I will mind much.

Thanks for info :D

The signal in general is clear, but going though a tunnel or something, be prepared for some static.
