Toronto Mazda3 Ads

Well, since wtom\'s idea of making promo/welcome cards (http://torontomazda3.com/forum/read.php?TID=573) was brought up, I have been thinking of ways that the entire car club can advertise. His promo cards were a personal invitation to the club.

I was thinking at big events like Meet of the Mazdas, and especially DarKnights (where non-members would bring their 3\'s) we could have these ads on a piece of thick paper, kind of like those flyers you see for nightclub events. THis of course is just preliminary, but tell me what you think about the images below. All have been taken from either my personal pictures or picture from meets.

the last one is much more stand out. or use this idea to take a new one with color coordinated like MOM

I like the passion shot. Even Family 2 is good. Colour grouping would improve them a bit.

I think a group shot cruising would be cool. Hmm i must think of a way to get a shot from above my car looking back. Something a little higher then a hand out the sunroof.

and the 3rd one would be nice if it was more summetrical (i\'m a bit anal ;)

I personally like the 2nd one the best.

It\'s simple but most powerful. And it leaves room for a lot of photoshoping... i was going to photoshop in a \"reflection\" of the Toronto skyline in the window.

I like the first pic by Xenon. The slogan is really nice too.

I gotta admit that business cards/welcome cards are a really good idea. I first learned about the Toronto Accord Club the same way. Some dude just stuck a card on the driver side window.
I would have never know about the club if he didn\'t put that card on the window.

Don\'t know if you guys are interested or not... but I do commercial photography... so if new postcards are needed, I\'d be more than happy to take a whole bunch of photos for the new print media.

It would be kind of pointless to canvas the area with flyers on 3\'s only to have some old lady that doesn\'t use internet throw it out.
Maybe just put it on 3\'s with some stuff done to it? Tint, Stubby, Rims, etc?
Even though most of the 3\'s with mods on it are already here.

Again with the nice and classy, I think we should use an aspect of the car that is instantly recognizable, not a group shot.

You have to think of the people that will respond to said promo. If you want ricers, use a pic of a tricked out 3, get my drift?

I love the idea behind the second pic above, just needs to be a little more recognizable as a Mz3.

I\'d love to see some photo-shoppery on the clouds in the first pic to have a \"3\" shaped cloud or something.

With Justin the Commercial Photographer and others (autoexe, KenYork, myself, etc - then again too many chefs could spoil the broth :p ) that are fairly serious hobby photogs - we just need an underground parking lot - May 11 Pics (http://torontomazda3.com/forum/read.php?TID=6138) - took this in the underground parking lot - in effect it\'s a studio (lighting is a bit more controlable, rain/wind not as much of a factor.)

Agree with SourceE - a sleek look - like what Xenon had posted.

Pic # 1 is the best for me, slogan and pic. It shows the human part of the club, its not only about the cars, its you with your car, thats why i don\'t like the second one much. Great job Lawrence.

We should really get this done and use the cards the way you guys have proposed, waiting rooms in dealerships and to leave them on selected cars.
