I've seen a lot of people recommend putting a ms3 exhaust onto the mz3... But I was wondering what kind of work needs to be done to make this set up work. Does the axle back portion of the ms3 just bolt straight onto the existing mz3 system?
I have the 2.0L skyactiv FYI.. So I know I'd have to deal with the dual outlet somehow lol.
Thanks!

Yup, it bolts right up.
Ask the shop to cut the other outlet out so you dont need to cut a hole in your bumper OR get a GT bumper. It sounds nice, not too loud, not too quiet.

+3, it's the best for Skyactiv cars.

I have it and love it. I put a GT bumper on, so I left the second one open.
And direct bolt up is very nice.

Thanks for the response!
How does this set up compare to the racing beat axle back? I've kinda had my mind set on that for a while... But as I was saving up the funds for that... I realize that this is kind of an option as well.. Cheaper too lol. Even if you factor getting a whole new bumper.

Racing beat is not bad.. Imo its not as good as ms3 axleback

Is it only the axle back portion that is interchangeable with the mz3's? Will the cat back system from the ms3 work? Or would that need some modification to get the res to work?
Just curious cause I saw someone on kijiji sell the whole cat back system for the ms3

They sell the catback, but only the muffler is interchangeable. The mid pipe needs cutting and welding.

Do you know if anyone has ever tried cutting and welding it on? Just plainly out of curiosity now lol.

Of all the CBE's I've used, the OEM Speed3 (not OEM accessory version) was the one I liked the most.
It was a tad loud to my liking, but once I swapped in the Vibrant Ultra Quiet Resonator, I was good to go.

I have the 2013 Sky.
Did a bumper swap for a 2.5 dual.
Cat back with no rez, and a splitting muffler at the back.
It sounds pretty good and didn't cost a ton of money either.
I've seen lots of people just do the cat back on single and it looks and sounds great.
If you wanna see my set up then PM me any time.
