Just curious if anyone has purchased the air OK. I was initially going to get the side sills first, but because I have the mudguards installed, I can't. So I'm looking at the back and front ends.

Are the fairly rugged? Most plastics are very thin and crack easily, especially in Canada's cold winter climates.. I don't want to be spending this kind of money if that is a likelihood. Also, being a shiny plastic, will be scratch easily? Want to car looking good in a couple of years…

Input?

I'd say the plastic quality is comparable to that of the front bumper. Also keep in mind that when mounted, the rear kit has the extra support of the bumper underneath (hatch model) so it's really only the bottom center I feel is a bit vulnerable. It's as glossy black as the paint of the car and is holding its shine. I have not seen any scratches appear.

I'd suggest using extra 2 sided tape. I found mine lifted a bit on the seam after a few weeks but nothing major.

If you're getting the factory Aero kit you have nothing to worry about. As natspriceless has stated, it would be of the same materials as the front cover as it is designed by Mazda for your car and normally if bought at time of purchase would be subject to the same vehicle warranty.

I've yet to see an aero kit from Mazda that has not been designed well or did not fit well.

I have the entire rep Aero kit from Next mod, so far its held up pretty well and fits pretty much OEM style. :) if you want I can post the pictures

I've installed a few of them at the shop
The material is great
5he only thing I'd do is make sure those edges stay secure it is bolted on for most of the bottom but a tape material holds the edges on and I have seen that come off a few times

Okay thank you so much!! I'm going to start with the back end first!

Another quick question about assembly with the Aero Kit...

So does the kit (let's say the kit for the back bumper) just attached to the current bumper, or do they take off the original black plastic figment off and then attach the aero kit??

Thank you :)

Take a look at this thread (http://mazda3revolution.com/forums/2014-2016-mazda-3-skyactiv-how-guides/84898-2014-oem-aero-kit-instructions-pdf.html)in another forum.

Instructions are pretty small but it doesn't look like the factory kit requires any removal of the black part before installation.

P.S. I looked at the link more... this is for a hatch and not sedan. Sorry.

Just wondering what size your rims are and if you're lowered? That kit looks great but I'm concerned it may be too low for a daily driver. I'm already lowered 2" with 18's.
