Finally just decided to make my own thread as every thread i've came across about what coilovers to buy is pretty outdated going back like 3 years ago.
Anyways, past week or so I've been reading countless reviews on different brands of coilovers and wondering what do some of you guys/girls use.
I'm on a budget closer to the 1100 range but if I have to fork the extra couple hundred for something really good depending what you guys say i have no problem with doing that. Currently I drive a 2013 speed3 and its a DD I've been lowered before on my old 3 on sportline springs but i want the upgrade.
Ive been reading into:
Raceland Primos (hit or miss?)
BC Racing BR type
KW v1s
STs
Ksport
Ive been leaning towards the BC's but seems like some people have been having problems with them like i said before the other threads are really outdated so I don't know how they perform now or if the coilovers have been been updated or what not.
Share some your opinions
Thanks!

Are you wanting to go really low ? Or do you just want the height adjusting functions of coil overs ?
Challenge is your budget. The quality options are really tough with your budget(KW V2/V3, Bilstein, etc).

I had BCs for three years or so and I didn't have any real issues with them. I tracked them once, but mainly street driven.
However when I put the 10k 135mm springs in them vs the 7K they ship with they rode pretty damn rough.
Never ceased or blew or anything.
if you daily your car, i heard about good things about BC coils, got a couple of my buddies running and no issues, also check out
standard coils & ISC coils.
i personally have a KW v2 and i love it. i even track them with it.

+1 // Been running BC extreme drops for 35xxxkm and no issues, love the drop it gives and also the ride quality is great due to the adjustable preload.
ISC are a bit cheaper and great also.

Not trying to go really low, but yes more so for the height adjusting functions. What are you on Ami?
Also, was just debating on going all out one time on KWs or settle for BC's considering still got to pay to install and alignment afterwards.

KW's are considerably more expensive. I would go KW V2/V3 for track use.
If you're dailying it, just go bc, isc, or standard suspension etc. Best bang for buck.
KW V1s have limited adjustments but are amazing on track. If you decided to go KW, go with the KW V2's atleast.

ST are V1 with steel bodies. Had BC they lasted 3 months before I sold them.

I went springs and shocks. Having had several sets of coil overs before, I know I would not adjust the height.
That, and I think going to low you lose some of the great handling.
I am on Swift spec R springs, and Bilstein B8 shocks.

I would take any of those choices over the ISC I ended up with. Worse coilovers I ever used!!!

same boat. I've got regular racelands (ultimos weren't out at the time) and it's been similar mileage and two years and they work great. Put them up a bit in the winter, drop it back down in the summer. have also done some track days with them. No issues yet

Have you ever actually called around performance car parts in google or even read some posts in the forum?

Are you just assuming I didn't? I've spent lots of time looking into it, I'm just wondering what people have to say here since it's a relatively new thread. I thought forums like these were part to help people...

I didnt assume but seriously tho, there are tons of threads in here that people stated where they get their coilovers from.
All i have to do is type in "coilover" in the search forum and they will all show up. Its been talked a lot already.

I have already looked into that but as OP stated, the threads are all outdated.
Anyway if anyone wants to actually chime in and have any helpful info let me know!

After having my coils on for just over a week, im seriously impressed with them. The ISC N1 series is awesome. I put it to max soft, and use that for daily. +5 for autocross.
They rebound super nice and take bumps really easy without massive noise you would normally get from super stiff suspension. Its a really great and quiet ride in comparison to other cars ive driven in. Granted with stiffer suspension does come more natural noise from the pavement, you will notice a slight increase of road noise. I know a lot of people have driven on lots of other suspension setups but this by far has blown me away. Even with another friend in the car, the car is still very quiet and doesn't make a lot of noise.
If you want specifics feel free to ask me questions.

I forgot to take an before picture but I mean it was obviously really high with stock suspension. This is no adjustments just straight out of the box and have tons of flexibility to drop even more. +1 on BCs

3. XYZ Racing (Taiwan designed and made from street to all types of racing ) They start at $1300 cdn +ship+duty+tax
4. Silvers Neosilver (taiwan ) $1752 CDN tax in
4. Goodspeed MonoMaxx (these are taiwan made others are china made) $1380 tax in CDN

Thanks!! Ya im looking forward to getting them next week. Although on winter tires its a good way to let them to settle in .
I do still prefer the Fortune Auto (FA) over the KW ... The price point is less that the KW V3 but the FA entry level series 500 can rebuilt to 2 way
but the KW V3 can also be rebuilt and great warranty too.

Ok ...last Update from me on this subject on what i think is a good $$ for product for a daily and some track and alot of track .
The list has changed after reading product descriptions, reading more products reviews/feedback and contacting company reps.
I was able to get a great deal on the NEO Motorsport Type AA . My mechanic has worked with NEO and has done some Drift car builds for Neo Motorsport and other cars using Neo's.
Plus Neo Motorsport ..they are local ...30 min drive.. Bolton with their own shop for Coilover and big brake install.
Fortune Auto I still love (only for Speed & Mazda 3 hatch)
Fortune Auto series 510 $2100 usd ( the tech that is in the 510) which are rebuildable to a 2 way or 3 way. (they are not cheap)
https://fortune-auto.com/coilovers/510series/ .... Series 500 are very nice too (1400 USD)
OHLIN ..wtf ...why dont you make a set for Mazda 3's ....
If you are planning to spend $2000 usd + you should consider and want that track performance to rock and want it also on your daily drive
