Hey guys -

2012 mazda 3 Hatch - trying to get a 4 channel amp that I can mount on the left side of the trunk (where the jack compartment is). I currently have a Dual (yes yes, but for $50 it serving me quite well), but is enormous - 14" by 9" or something. I'm looking for something at least 40w rms a side into 4ohm, that's hopefully smaller than 9" x 9", so I can mount it nicely and not have the wires all jammed and bent so I can fit this thing. My budget is about 200 used, hence another issue.

Any recommendations, or any one selling anything that may fit the bill? I've been looking at these two... thoughts?

http://www.crutchfield.ca/Kenwood_KAC_M1804_45W_x_4_Compact_Amplifier_p/113kam1804.htm Kenwood M1804. About 160. I think the clarion has lower distortion and better specs?

I've got the Kenwood and it made a huge difference to the sound. I thought I would need a subwoofer, but after installing the Kenwood 1804 with some professional grade pioneer speakers I never needed the sub. Go Kenwood. The damn thing is tiny and easy to hide, but powerful as hell!
