Custom Shift knob. Thanks to mikespike

I just wanted to share some pics of the 2 shift knobs that mikespike made for myself and a buddy (huffer). Awesome, awesome job Mike! Fits like a glove and looks amazing. If anyone else has an idea of what they want I\'m sure Mike will be able to make it for you.

i like the one on the 5 speed better..looks really good man =, nice job. i bet the extra weight makes for easier shifting. id just hate to grab that metal in the summer, youcould end up burning yourself...it looks really good though man

these shifter knobs can be made to your specs and design.It can be made of aluminium or stainless
steel. THE guys that have the twm short shifters the stainless steel shifter knobs sell for 110 can
but i can make them for 30.IF anybody is interested in one you can e-mail me at mikecnc@hotmail.com

mikespike, forget the friggin knobs, where\'s da shortshifter?

if you can make one with a bend such that there is no offset of the shifter on installation, I guarantee you\'ll have gazillions of sales through mazda3forum.com.

You guys are really throwing this needs a bend thing out of proportion, its like not even half an inch shifted. It doesn\'t even affect the shifting in any way. If you are waiting to see if you can get it cheaper than I guess I can understand $200 is a bit pricey but seriously if its cause of the bend then you are blowing it completely out of proportion.

mike did an amazing job on my shift knob its just a sphere but it looks amazing

You\'re probably right. Haven\'t seen an install yet. Just going by comments of a few of the unhappy campers on M3F.

Met up with Mike and picked up my shift knob...i have to say the workmanship is amazing. Mike produced an amazing product. Looks similar to the momo sphere that I posted above. I love the feel and weight of the shift knob...I\'ll post up picks of it this weekend. Thanks again Mike.

You da man Mikespike!!!! I love the shiftknob, I just cant forgot the fact its so blinged out!!!! So shiny I get paranoid to leave my car anywhere with that shiftknob at site....Even with tinted windows it stands out nicely!!!!

Thanks again Mike! A super friendly guy that does some amazing work, I dropped by his work and we ended up chatting for an hour! Showed me around his shop...gonna grab another soon...just gotta figure out whats next!

I took it off the back...looks kinda cool at night with the blue light reflecting off the silver...:D
