Thanks to the Group Buy that Majic organized I finally put my Side Marker and Side Sills on. I just read Newlook\'s post and also feel that the back sills don\'t stick well and extra tape maybe the way to go. I saw other posts by other members about putting extra tape on it but I guess I have to learn the hard way. I hope the original tape doesn\'t lose it\'s stickiness when I re-tape it.:p But either way here are some pics.

Majic, when are you putting yours in?
I had similar sills and the tape that comes on the sill SUCKS. I already had one of the rear sills kicked off by accident. I bought some 3M industrial strength tape (mainly to reposition one of my HID ballasts) and will use that to restick all sills once I get around to cleaning that part of the car.
EDIT: the 3M i bought is a roll, red coloured, on a cardboard backing, also red. It\'s about $4.59 or so at Wal-Mart.

The O-Rings definitely enhances the lines of the car. Nice Suttle mod!!!
Is it just me or do I see a small gap between the turn signal and the ring?

Scotch/3M exterior mounting tape. Super Strong holds up to 5 lbs. $4.57 at Walmart. It\'s a very small roll, only 1.5m long... At first I was looking for a big roll like duct tapes.

No, I see it too. I have those too on my OEM trim rings but for some reason they don\'t seem as noticeable as the ones in the photos above.

I\'m trying to see that little space, but i think its the lighting that creates the gap...It looks good to me

I think the black ring of tape that comes with the OEM rings is supposed to darken the area and make whatever gap there is less obvious.
But then again...I wouldn\'t know. I don\'t have the rings, OEM or otherwise.

I gave the Ebay JDM sidemarker rings a try also. $6 USD and if I want to remove/debadge it, I won\'t be out $60 CDN for the real JDM ones. :sarc
Won\'t be there for long tho, will probably debadge it later along with the 2.3 emblem.
If you ask me, it looks like a near perfect fit.

You don\'t like how it looks? I think it looks better with the trim ring.

I bought the scotch exterior mounting tape to replace the crappy tape that came with the sills and they still don\'t really stick. They seem to stick better after leaving them on overnight but I\'m pretty sure if accidentally kicked at em a little while getting in/out of my car they\'d fall right off.
