The Stock 16 Toyos

Sorry if this was already asked before, I have seen a lot of posts regarding the RSA being bad so was just curious on how \'decent\' the stock Toyo\'s are. I was thinking of using them as summer tires and then after reading all the posts here picking up a set of winter tires later..

I had the 15\" Toyos on my GS and I wasn\'t all that impressed. I don\'t have ABS with my car and I found that they locked up pretty easily. For a narrow tire they were pretty noisy as well. Yours are a bit wider so they might have better grip. I really only had them on my car for about 600 km\'s before I swapped them out for dedicated summers so I can\'t really complain all that much....

If you\'re strapped for cash, stick with them until they wear out, but honestly, get yourself a set of winter tires next fall (don\'t leave it too late). This was my first season using a dedicated winter tire and I couldn\'t believe the difference they make. I\'d never go back to all seasons again.
