I'm not sure how I feel about this thread/build.... You want to go low, in a truck with 2wd, in Canada? You better carry some shovels and a bag of cat litter around at all times.
A 4 6 drop is not enough to affect in winter driving. Underneath will still be higher ground clearance than a stock speed
Except zero weight in the back where your drive is now coming from. You're going to get stuck everywhere. My speed will be better in the winter guaranteed.
It's all how you drive. I drove a v8 mustang in winter with all seasons and no issue. Driven a slammed 92 f150 flareside with 305's in the rear in winter. No issues. And that had a fibreglass bed. Not concerned
I'd keep the bed full of snow if I was you.
