Re: MS3Edge's Ford F150 Eco
Bring it to shannonville for the final test and tune.
Re: MS3Edge's Ford F150 Eco
I'm not sure how I feel about this thread/build.... You want to go low, in a truck with 2wd, in Canada? You better carry some shovels and a bag of cat litter around at all times.
Re: MS3Edge's Ford F150 Eco
A 4 6 drop is not enough to affect in winter driving. Underneath will still be higher ground clearance than a stock speed
Re: MS3Edge's Ford F150 Eco
Except zero weight in the back where your drive is now coming from. You're going to get stuck everywhere. My speed will be better in the winter guaranteed.
Re: MS3Edge's Ford F150 Eco
It's all how you drive. I drove a v8 mustang in winter with all seasons and no issue. Driven a slammed 92 f150 flareside with 305's in the rear in winter. No issues. And that had a fibreglass bed. Not concerned
Re: MS3Edge's Ford F150 Eco
I'd keep the bed full of snow if I was you.

Again not worried
Re: MS3Edge's Ford F150 Eco
Jeez, never thought there would be this much turmoil for a guy getting a truck...

Yeah not sure what all the beef is about. You'd think someone died or something.
Re: MS3Edge's Ford F150 Eco
How is the ecoboost on fuel? I've heard good and bad things especially since the 2015 mustang has the 2.8l ecoboost in it

Thanks for the explanation, I get what you mean now. Sounds like a neat product

Just googled it and it looks pretty good. If you're not needing any crazy ground clearance for your driving, why not. Trucks are good family haulers. Any plans on wheels yet?

I like it. I mean let's all be real it is still a truck but I am happy. The dodge drops to 4 cylinders on the hey so that's good to but I like the twin turbos

I really am partial to the FX but I would ultimately love an ecoboost platinum

Dodge does not not own cummins.... Dodge uses cummins in their 3/4 ton trucks and 1 ton trucks.... Cummins is used in transports, nissan is going to use it too.
not sure who told you dodge sold cummins but it dodge never owned cummins

Well doesn't really matter who owned it but dodge is no longer using it, Toyota is putting it in their tundras but I'm not gonna thread jack this about another truck,
Sweet ride and good choice in truck!

Re: MS3Edge's Ford F150 Eco
Have you considered Line-X in the bed? If I lived closer I'd let you take a look at mine.

How was it against the paint? Did it cause any damage/scratches? Any rust?

The bed rug actually holds up really good to what ever you put in bed of truck.... I had line -x in my truck and loved it... But other people I know who had a bed rug loved it too
