True true. Just being a major fawk Boi in general hahaha.
Yup. They have became the new civic. It's pretty sad.
In direct comparison to other platforms, our engines can be very strong and reliable. But when paired with Shitty parts and poor maintenance any engine can go into the dumps very quick.
"Need a engine, Trans and new turbo" smh.
I'd say a built engine in a speed is at least half than that swap alone lol.
Ya it's cheap when you think about it lol.
Tires. I was able to drive my speed3 for 25k this summer at over 400 whp and 400wtq and only killed 1 set of front tires lol. These cars get fun at 400whp.
With everything apart, it's beneficial to build the engine. You will need at least 1 new piston as it is. To freshen up the engine, new VVT, timing chain, gaskets etc. You are looking around...
300whp is very easy to attain with bolt ons and a good tune on 94. Whether you push a hurting engine to make that, is up to you though.
Ya it does raise the results. But it is more than a bandaid than a true fix. I have a built engine now because I had the same results. Keep an eye on compression over the next few months and report...
Cracked ring land on cylinder 3. Don't expect this engine to last forever. Mine comp was similar to that and I had 3 Cracked ring lands.
To answer OP's question....
The CX racing kit is decent. The core is pretty crap if you are trying to make power, but it is still better than the stock top mount. What is your mod list ? You...
Mazda sells cans of spray similar to brake clean, but it is designed to brake down carbon. (Originally designed for cleaning up rotary engines) and I have seen it used on the egr valve to help...
100 lbs is 2 tenths in the 1/4 or 1 tenth in the 1/8. 100 lbs effectively quickens the car the same as 5hp would. 200lbs, 10hp etc. Its all power to weight.
Hopefully that is where it was all going. He still has alot of blow by. This should narrow things down a bit though :)
Not a bad deal. Depending on the tune compression may be decent. But I would be it is low on 1 or 2 cylinders. I would comp test it for sure. If the car is clean it would be worth a rebuild down...
And by tear you mean when my car tears your's a new one!? Trollolololl
This is a good point. I never noticed that before. Although it looks badass, it may cause more havoc than it is worth.
Solid. I've raced a few new srt cars. Including a '15 charger srt8 and the same in a challenger. They haul ass, but I caught them and rolled past in 5th lol. That was my trip through Mexico a...
600 wheel would be nutty in that car haha. And reliable. I have a built engine that could make 600 hp. But the reliability between the 2 cars would be completely different. That hemi won't be...
When will the S/C kit be on !?
Holy. Unsprung is not gonna be fun. And honda guys think they can "bang gears" lol. It will definitely bite hard, but will be pretty harsh. A friend of mine had an Unsprung clutch in his 240sx...
His car is definitely a quick car on the track. The suspension + wheel and tire setup works well together to say the least.
"Stage 4" ? What clutch? I would assume that would hold the world lol
