Thanks again!
Thanks for the response! So would a dealership charge for this or is it something that should be covered under some kind of manufacturer warranty?
So I checked around the threads with other reports of the car not being able to start in Park or only starting in Neutral. Looks like I'm facing something similar with mine (2009 Mazda 3 GS sedan...
Thanks. I was just worried that putting in the wrong type of battery would cause things to not work. :)
Hi guys, sorry to bump the thread. Dealer is telling me that I should replace the battery as their tests show that it doesn't have the same cold cranking capability as before. Car is a 2009 Mazda 3...
Happy to report that the Mazda dealership was able to replace both rear coil springs under the MAP warranty plan. :)

Wow, that's actually pretty freaky how they both look almost identical to the damage they received.

Thank you for showing me this! I checked my paperwork and I do in fact have a MAP plan and sure enough it says that it covers the coil springs as part of the suspension area. The plan expires next...
P.S. The guy at AG&R also said that Mazda puts crappy suspension equipment in their Mazda 3s.

Heh, that's what they asked me too. I honestly don't recall going over any (major) pothole that would have made say "damn that was a big hole!". I'm guessing I'll have to pay a visit to Street...
BTW, here's what they found.

Edit: just passed by the dealer and they said that they would not cover something like that after...
I have a rattling noise from the rear driver wheel and the shop I'm at found a broken piece of spring in the assembly that was responsible for making the noise. Just curious if this kind of damage...
Hmm, this thread has got me interested in one of these things now. :) Just curious, for those of you getting one, are you planning on installing it yourselves or having a shop do it for you? ...
I'm sort of trying something like that. Trying to keep the rpms below 2500 while driving on Highway 7. Funny thing is is that there are times when even doing 2000 rpms the L/100km value can be over...
Hi Hoodzy. I would say that my drive is about 30/70 for city/highway driving while commuting to work and back. Highway 7 has some spots where you slow down and sometimes stop so I count some of...
Oh here's my fuelly report:

Gotta say that I'm a bit disappointed with my mileage over the past 3 years of owning a Mazda3. I don't get anywhere near what some of the others post on here and I don't know if there's any other...
2009 Mazda3 sedan here. Car is exactly 2 years old. I washed my car this past weekend and noticed bubbling of the paint on the roof of the car in 3 different little spots. I think 1 of them could...
Wow I don't know how you guys are getting some of the mileage you're posting. I think the best I have ever gotten was 7.9L/100km and that was last year and I'm sure I did mostly highway. I commute...
Hi everyone. Picked up my new ride 3 weeks ago and so far I'm loving everything about the car. This is our second family vehicle and I mostly use it to drive to and from work but this is definitely...
