    hope this isn't a dumb question, but is there a (perceived or otherwise) experience or feel of an aftermarket spark plug vs. stock/oem?

    example, car drives 'smoother', improved gas mileage, etc?

    unfortunately mine started off as a harmless chip.... but spidered out of control in a matter of minutes of continued driving. there's basically a crack from the driver side to the passenger side.

    i have colleagues with long memories and have sworn never to purchase a mazda3 ever again due to rust issues.

    I was able to sell a previous M3 via kijiji. Sold the car 'as-is' and was very upfront/honest on the status of the car, any concerns, etc. I think that helped with the transaction... and received...

    agree with the engine. it's a fun and zippy car. if you luck out with a car with no rust issues, it's a fun/great ride!
