Nice to see it hitting the news though and if there are only the 3 charges, that's rather disappointing, the driver...

Re: Guy hit me with his car on purpose and took off

Let me rephrase my "4) No" more accurately with "4) I'm not trolling".

    1) No
    2) Agreed, which I said in BOTH posts.
    3) Probably not...don't escalate. For all you know the guy could roll down his window and shoot you. Stop him safely, state facts, wait for police....

Re: Recharging your A/C: is it necessary?

If the system isn't leaking, trying to add coolant isn't going to do anything. The first gen 3's were notorious for having weak AC systems no matter what you did.

Yeah, because the torque spec on those bolts is 71-84 in-lb...so like 6ft-lbs...a 1/4 drive ratchet you can pretty easily do 20-30ft-lbs without even realizing it.

Here's an idea...fix your car. You've obviously got some problems, don't try to game the system. My car with the cpe catted downpipe never had any trouble at all passing emissions. What's the code...

Re: How to buy a car without plates?

You'd need to have it towed to/from the mechanic or bring the mechanic to the car.
