Re: How many guys are rocking Racing seats?

CG-Lock was popular when I was auto-crossing, but I (like already mentioned) ended up on the Rallye4 harness.

    Re: Google Chromecast

It's great to make a non-smart TV into a smart one (apps, etc). Bought one to see if I like it and for travelling. I use it mostly with Plex.

One gripe is that it does NOT store wifi settings, so...
  4. Re: P235/60R16 Winter Tires on Mazda3 (don't fit too well)

Bet you can use some Ranger springs and suspension pieces to make it work.

This idea is more common then I realized, now that I'm in the VW crowd, here's an example...

Re: Thinking of buying a portable a/c

Totally depends how much square footage you expect to cool.

Like Slade said, I'd need to make up a blocking divider to stop the hot air from being sucked back in.
  6. Re: Thermostat Reads hot After Coolant/Rad Flush

I had to burp mine by squeezing the lines in and out to the heater core (Gen1). Once I did that the reservoir was full of bubbles, waited and then I topped it off.

Re: R.I.P Maxine (2007 Mazda GT)

    Darkice is right.
In the eyes of the law, you're probably not at fault. In the eyes of the insurance company, you're at fault (who else would pay for repairs?). So either your premiums go up or you...

I used zipties making 'X's so it looks laced up. But your way looks stronger.

Re: Got two tickets need help

I'm not sure if you're defending the HTA or trying to paraphrase and contradict every point made.

Re: Projector Lens (Halogen to HID)

    You'll want something like this,

but I don't know if it will fix Gen2. It was made for Gen1.

I did the halogen to xenon swap,...

  16. Re: Gen 1 Mazda3 GS Conversion to Factory Xenon Stup

That for the dash panel switch? You'd need 3, signal to the motors and pos/neg for illuminating the light. You're 5 wire gang seems overkill.

The actuators are always getting the 12v power...
  17. Re: Gen 1 Mazda3 GS Conversion to Factory Xenon Stup

If I recall my setup, I believe I tapped the ground from my Hella horns and power from +12v to the ballasts.
The actuators need any switched +12v/GND, I picked something that was active if the...
  18. Re: Anyone getting great MPG with the 2012 Skyactiv 3?

So the common theme is 500-700'ish for everyone, but drafting transports and avg ~100km/h on the highway will net you advertised mpg? Ref: greyseason

If I've read all this correctly?

    Re: Choosing 1st Bike...thoughts....

SV650 is a sweet bike, love the V-twin. Gobs of torque when you need it :)
I had one when I did the F.A.S.T. Riding School at Shannonville and it's no slouch either.

  24. Re: Gen 1 Mazda3 GS Conversion to Factory Xenon Stup

Prob, when I did my EVO lenses, I had to make-up cereal box spacers to get the focus and blue cutoff.
  25. Re: Gen 1 Mazda3 GS Conversion to Factory Xenon Stup

I believe I did it with it out after much prying, cause the metal ribbon is held down by the top with a metal bracket+screw (trying to jog my memory)....
