That's the thing... You don't actually need that much trq with these things. The drift trikes use pvc tires to drift... Like lunch trays.
Having said that... I'm also looking at electric go karts...
Gas vs electric is not an issue...the thing with electric is that it will be heavier, more expensive and won't run for as long likely...
If these were built locally with kart components... Capable of holding 200lbs guys and able to haul a tire trailer at the track...
