The back window channels are replaceable and there is no paint required. Check with your dealer and show it to them, if the vehicle is under warranty they should be replaced with no issue

2004 Mazda 3 does not have a cabin filter. I do believe that the spot is there if you wanted to add one however.

The new belt tensioner that is offered (OEM) has been updated and the pulley itself is metal. Issues in the past with the plastic pulley grenading are common

you should contact Mazda Canada customer service and advise them that you are the new owner. Bring up to them the concern about the recall, and I'm sure they will have a solution.

This has been a common issue with the 3. I have never seen a cable replaced due to it breaking from this issue. Every time it has been corrosion at the pivot. Just my $.02
