Yep. Its located behind the exhaust manifold. You can see a brass plug with orange thread gasket sticking out. Never ever installing a block heater ever again.

I hooked mines up directly to the fuse box by the drivers left foot. Use add a circuit and a 12v socket. Zap strap everything under the dash and hide everything in the trim.

You pretty much got duped. Never buy third party warranty. They're usually a pain in the ass to get stuff warrantied.

Well just in my experience out of 13 claims and counting... As long as there's a dash cam to prove that a mattress, gravel, tire, ice chunks, or whatever came flying off the other parties vehicle...
I thought equipment that came off another car that ended up damaging your car is covered under their insurance? Well that's how it works in BC. You just need a dash cam to forward to insurance to...
Your pretty much out of luck at that point. All I can recommend is your collision or comprehensive or DIY. If not just seal it up with plastic welder.

That should be covered under trucks insurance

Do you have emissions testing in your province? If so do you know if they do the tail pipe test or OBD2 test?

Install an 02 extender from eBay. Makes the light disappear lol. Doesn't fix the problem though.

Personally I'm not concerned too much. Fram I would stay away from due to construction. I'm also not driving 300km to get an oil filter from a mazda dealership.
Yeh... I'm not really too concerned since I've been using them for a while on different cars. Cars don't have the same tolerances as airplanes but that doesn't mean I cheap out on oil filter.
Not sure what it is but I've read that some other part numbers start from 8psi and go as high as 20psi. I'm pretty confident that they designed it so it only opens in certain conditions (Cold Start...
I use the napa proselect filter. The best build I've seen compared to any filter for the price. Cost around $8.
