    Re: Car died while driving

Sorry, to clarify the dash flicker due to the bad contacts on the immobilzer was when I turned the engine off & removed the key. **Can't edit posts yet.

    Re: Car died while driving

I've disconnected the immobilizer while running and everything was running normally. I had a dash flicker issue with my immobilzer though, like McGuyver said bad contacts. Apart from that having a...

Re: Squeak when A/C or defroster vent selected

I have the same problem. I hear it when I let off the throttle too, mostly happens when AC is set to max cool. I couldn't figure it out and eventually thought the A/C clutch is wearing, still blows...

Re: Rear Motor Mount: Without the vibe ;)

To answer my own question for others, no you do not need a nut at the end. Just torque it down.

Re: Rear Motor Mount: Without the vibe ;)

FYI this bolts thread is M12, length I'm unsure of. I have a M12 that extends 3cm past the thread on the other side. I plan on cutting it to-size once I know if I need to put a nut on the end or not....

Re: Problems with OBDII Bluetooth Reader

Plugged in for two weeks, problem appeared again. Flickering dash and/or traction control light. As usual happened 3-4 times in a row, while the car was running I reseated the connector. After that...

    Problems with OBDII Bluetooth Reader

    Hello all.

I had a problem I thought I caused when I was installing my auto-starter. My PIC (Panel Instrument Cluster) would blink and sometimes turn off while driving. I coined this problem to...

Re: Parking Downhill - Won't Start

The purpose of that signal is to check if the car is idling.
    It's verifying that
    a) Your car isn't in gear when you exit the car.
    b) No one is trying to steal your car when it has been remotely...

Re: Parking Downhill - Won't Start

I was hoping this thread would die a quiet death. It's not the immobilizer causing the issue. When it does cause an issue at start-up it only complains that I'm putting in an invalid key. I left a...

    Parking Downhill - Won't Start

    Hello.

I'm embarrassed to even ask if this has happened to anyone, but I must know. After looking it up, people have had issues starting their car while parking on a slope. The slope I parked on...

    Re: Hello Peoples

As long as I have a clear number of 'where to stop' that's helpful. More likely than not it will stay as an econobox.

Not a bad idea. I plan on going to wreckers, any suggestions on...

    Re: Hello Peoples

I have one question that I've been asking myself about this car I bought. 99% of Mazda 3's that I see that are tuned are Mazdaspeed 3's. Are the sedans a money sink if you were to try to put...

    Hello Peoples

    Hello. I'm a 2011, Mazda 3 2.0 (4-door) owner with a bare bones stock car.

I googled and found this site, works for me because I'm a Mississauganite. I'm mostly here to look up how to work on my...
