I feel for you man. It's the memories you made with the car that make it hard. Once I cleaned my stuff out of the car I started feeling better already.

If it's just AC and tires why would you replace at only 192k km? Unless there is more to it like rust and/or expensive repairs upcoming that you know about?
Thanks for the replies guys. I'm sure now that letting it go and have the parts used for other cars is the best way to end the road for this one.

That value was given without knowing anything aside from what car it is and the odo.
The body has a broken from grill, rust on every door bottom, rust on rear hood at both lights. I haven't...
Theres a bolt in the rear suspension that broke, as I was going to change the strut tower mount for a second year in a row 🙄, and now this car sits in the driveway awaiting my decision.
It's a...
Great thorough read thanks for the link!
turbo, driver's side ds, door bottoms rusting out for starters. That's why I'd be interested in a clean 2009 to swap into, but thought it would make for a fun swap to do the sedan. I don't mind...
Am I nuts to think it would be just cut/paste? My 2007 speed 3 is dying and I'd love to swap front body panels, engine, seats, interior bits, all onto a sedan but I fear starting it and finding out...
I'm reverse-engineering my breakfast as I type this.
Could be trailing arm bushings. Your car is old, and my 2007 makes noise on bumps and uneven roads and I know for a fact it's my dry bushings.
Hi guys,
My question is simple: Max Brakes have front rotors for the speed 3 with a hub reg of 72.00mm, but our hub diameter is 67.1mm. My concern is the almost 5mm of difference. Can anyone...
Link to transponder thread? Sounds like that guy really needs my help!
Why not share which dealership did the bait/switch on you so the rest of us can be informed?
100% blown shock.
Then I hope it's the passenger mount dripping, or perhaps I'm just too sloppy when topping off the oil haha. Either way I hoped to change the mounts when I could afford it and that time might be...
I'll have to check more thoroughly from underneath when doing an oil change soon, but I think it might actually be the driver side mount as I noticed some fluid spots on the driveway that seem to...
The passenger side doesn't look torn or damaged from the top and I can't see the driver side without removing battery etc. I have noticed a few drop spots on the driveway that are fairly fresh and...
Hey guys,
Simple problem. I feel a pulsing through the gas pedal when accelerating at higher speeds. I can also feel it if I floor it and shift from say 3rd into 4th on a highway on-ramp. From my...
Good eye. I used to live right around the corner on Beechborough ave.

Probably called it the model 3 because it's their 3rd car.
Notice they say equivalent. 3.2L equivalent, just like the 13B is 2.6L equivalent. It's half what the equivalent is, and also what the number in the code is, so I'm assuming 1.6L actual.
If they plan to go in a more upscale direction and move away from the childish designs of past, then they better start really focusing on the rusting issues. I would say this is much more important...
That's what I usually use; either Rotella 5w40 or PP 10w-30. I plan on trying the PP 5w-40 I found at the Ajax Canadian Tire next time but was just curious about these Sustina numbers as they are all...
Thanks for the replies guys. For a speed then, I was thinking the 5w-30 would be best, or do you think the 0w-50?
