I gotta give props to Costco's warranty policy:
I bought some all-season Michelin radials Jan 2014 for my wife's Kia in Costco Naples FL - before the long drive back to the great white north. A...
Uh, wrote this too fast - replace camshaft with crankshaft above - duh.
OK, so this summer my 2005 2.3 started to chug-a-chug like an old washing machine - and I read your post - BRILLIANT - thanks for sharing dj_adamix!
It sure sounded like the worn ac pulley posted...
That's a keeper - anybody know how to re-initialize wipers for 2005-2007 Mazda3?
Well, I tried this on my 2005 M3 and "the windshield wiper operates once at low speed. " occurred for both a set of...
That's a keeper - anybody know how to re-initialize wipers for 2005-2007 Mazda3?
LOL! That's what I thought too - but nope, Mazda views this as a feature, not an option - no one would want to give it up once they witnessed the magic - yeah.
BTW, does it bug anyone else that...
+1 - I hate them - I took my car in after the first winter to get the dealer to change the setup to be intermittent instead. They were stunned "It's the best feature ever!" Yeah, maybe in Florida -...
I just replaced both 7443 bulbs (Sylvania 2-pack $4.99 at crappy tire). On the weekend I had removed my back bumper to replace backup sensors that I installed 5 years ago (They didn't like operating...
Kudos to the thread! Picked up a DAYCO #89015 at Cawthra Automotive for $30 - replaced it in 10 minutes. Hope that stops the squeal.
Hi - I just had a similar problem with my 2005 Mazda3 OEM CD player.
I didn't use it for years, as I had installed an iPod gizmo from eBay that appears to the console as a multi-CD deck.
I...
I had my oil changed at Westowne Mazda, and I happened to take a look underneath when I got home - the back right corner was hanging off! It was the weekend then, so before it got wrecked, I removed...
Sure have - not recently on the road, but the video was taken on a pad of sheer ice - that's how we managed to do 360s so easily - and yes - even learned to control them!
A car on ice does have a...
Oh yeah, I assumed that you already knew all that - the point here is that you have to 'steer in the direction...' really fast (ie before you rotate by 38 degrees), or you've already lost it!
One problem with using the 17" stock rims for winter is that the wide gaps between the spokes collect snow and ice when you park in blowing snow. Then the wheels are not balanced until you scrape out...
After the fun winter weekend of driving in T.O., I thought it was timely to share this lesson:

Well, that winter storm on Sunday was certainly a good test! I'm quite satisfied with the Michelin's performance.
They're at least as good as the other Michelins that I have - and I didn't get...
I just replaced the gawdawful stock RSAs with Michelin Pilot Exalto A/Ss (215/50/HR17) at Tire World (905-677-TIRE) - installed, balanced, out the door with taxes: $907.44 - less the $50 Michelin...

Correct! The notion that your height has anything to do with the view thru the mirror is only bought by those that flunked grade 11 physics :chuckle
The mirror's position sets the 'viewing angle' -...
I had my back bumper off last weekend (2005 sport) - you need a Phillips screwdriver, 10mm hex wrench, wrench to remove the back lights (10mm?), and most important tool - door trim tool. Oh, and...
I plan to attend - but no dents (yet!)
If anybody has the online manual on a CD, can you bring one for me? I'll repay you.

Thanks, yeah, I read that stuff - that's why I only bought one seat kit to start with. The quality of the components and the fabric looks real good, and I've had zero problems over the past few...
I bought one heated seat kit for my leather seats (2005 GT) from heatedseatkits:
http://www.heatedseatkits.com/heatedseatkits/iheat2/index.html
I installed it during the winter, and wired it up...
Turbo-injected engines are always set to run 'rich', because the main problem with getting more horsepower out of the same engine, is that the engine gets too hot. So some of the fuel is 'pushed'...
