Good stuff... yes the lug nuts were loose. I tightened them and went for a test drive, the noise is gone. Good thing I didn't lose a wheel.

My pads are OEM.
So I figured it out! I took the wheel off, it turns out the anti-rattling clip (retention clip) was very loose. I can move the outside pad with my finger and it jiggles inside the...
That's what happened to me too, I changed the rear caliper along with the pads.
I found a video, anyone tried this?

Fast forward to 3:40. In the...
Have you gotten it fixed? You can visually see if the anti-rattle clip is there on your caliper (it's the wire retainer). My pad plays in the caliper as well and I think we're having the same issue.
Anyone got a remedy to this problem?
One of my left rear brake pad is rattling. The pads are installed correctly (not backwards) and it's the outside one that is rattling. Given that the outside...
So I started noticing this about two weeks ago when I was driving in slow moving traffic downtown. It is very noticeable when doing 40kmh or below but it has gotten worse and I can hear it at...
2004 Mazda 3 GT with 193,000km... Did Thunder Bay to Sault Ste Marie (688km) in just over 47L :)
Underneath the glove box. Found the blown fuse. Thanks :)
I think I shorted the cigarette lighter and now there is no power to it. I checked the fuse under the hood and it didn't look like anything was burnt. Is there another fuse box? Can anyone shed some...
Does it make a difference between the Thermoquiet ceramic and semi-metallic?
I'm running ceramic now, on regular rotors. They don't seem to be a good match. Wondering if semi-metallic would do...
Hey I have the same problem. I replaced my front brakes at 140K (both pads and rotors)... with Thermoquiet pads. 5,000km later they start to squeal every time I brake. I went back, the guy changed...
Are you using winter tires? I have them on and I don't remember of my ABS kicking in at all in normal driving situations.
Around 8:30am, westbound QEW at Trafalgar. Black 2010 Axela sedan... we both exited at Dorval. You got TM3 plate covers. Nice car dude :)

Don't forget Peggy's Cove in Nova Scotia which is a fairly close drive from Halifax. http://www.peggyscove.ca/
The rocky shores, the light house, the lobster traps, and the Swissair 111 monument.
I haven't done that route but I have driven to St. John's NFLD and back.... 7000km.
Other than attractions in major cities which are pretty easy to find, there is also the "world's longest covered...

I think it means "alkaline based all-purpose cleaner"... house cleaners might work? That's why you need to dilute it with water to a 10-to-1 ratio before you use it on your car.
OPP have civic cruisers... I have seen a picture of a marked one in black with white doors.
Anyone tried Langka?
I'd like to see him get charged with reckless driving, street racing, speeding over 50km/h and have his cruiser impounded....

Drive the Corolla :chuckle
Yea right of way is the key. Now we don't know who has the right of way - the girl or the cop. I mean if the girl was turning into the intersection from a side street, and the cop was coming from a...
On a similar subject, I got 3 long, fine and deep scratches on my door.... My guess is someone walked by and scratched it with their bag/briefcase. Touching those up with a pen is gonna look really...
