Alot of the time you can agree to buy it back as clean title for a higher price. For future reference. But the amount of damage does take a toll on this. My car in this scenario cannot be sold clean...
If anyone's looking for a parts car, they are welcome to make an offer. Waiting for insurance to go through and then find out what the buy back price is. It's the entire vehicle or nothing.

2- the ac is a closed system. Even though the compressor isn't engaging it still is a closed loop, therefore holding pressure.
Recently had the ac go on my 04 Mazda 3 2.3L. Belt was missing after...
I drive a 04 Mazda 3 2.3L manual, I burn 1.5L's every 5 days. Changing oils hasn't worked, stabilizer hasn't worked, pcv valve didn't work, nothing. Welcome to the burning Mazda club ;)

Any exhaust leak? Could be the Pistons your hearing.

I'm already running 5W30,

Will give it a go, no sign of blue smoke so I guess that's a good sign! The car runs pretty clean actually, no exhaust smoke at all.
Thanks

Will look into it, thank you! Could anything else cause the oil to burn? I've also heard the Piston rings?

I apologise, is that against the rules? I'll know for next time.

Coolant is perfect in colour by the way, forgot to add that.

Title says it all, 2004 2.3L Mazda 3 GS 5 speed manual, 240,000 kms. No leakage, black burnt oil, changed every 3000kms, oil filter housing appears to be perfectly fine.
Did an oil change just...
Has anyone done this before? Looks like a tight squeeze, looking for tips, tricks and advice.
What coolant do you recommend?
As for the ac belt, this vehicle has no tensioner for said belt,...
I shall give this a try, thank you!

I do have one, but I don't exactly know what's reading incorrect and what's not. As I have no idea what it should be reading.

That sounds lovely. Looks like there is plenty of things in the way for removal. But. Four hours in my garage is alot of saved money.

I went along and did what I said I was going to do first, changed the upstream o2 sensor. Only CEL left after an hour of driving is P2004. (And my thermostat needing replacement, but that's obvious.)...
Title says it all, 3 new CELs.
I figured a good place to start is the O2 sensors. But which one? Upstream?
What do you guys recommend?

I think it might be the impact to be honest, cheap dealership cheapingbojt where they can. Its a 22gallon compressor with a max of 115psi,

Well, wouldn't fix my problem though. But neat.

Interesting to know, can't say I've ever seen a shop use a bar before a impact. How much does a breaker bar typically cost?

On the highest setting yes. Oiled, not yet. Was the first use. I will oil it before my next use for sure. But I feel like there has to be something else. Oil can't be everything I'm doing wrong.

Hopefully this is a valid place to make this post. Bought a air impact capable of 230 or 250lbs, 20 gallon tank running at 115psi, and what I think is a 1/2 hose, say 25ft. Can't take a single lug...
There's a solid 3-4 years left, guaranteed. Very well maintained all its life. But being in Canada, most patch jobs only last 3 years unless your changing the entire panel. So I'm thinking that's...
So my cars currently running 5W20, what would be the recommended swap? Will this effect anything?
Thanks,
Tim
