Automatic Transmission, at least thats what I always assumed
I removed the crossmember cause i didn't want to deal with rusty exhaust manifold nuts while it was in the car... so I took the member out so it will drop all out in one piece. Turns out the...
The way I did was simple, and a hoist would be a must. I removed the suspension, rack and cross member all as one (leaving the struts and knuckles in place on the car) and anything else that needed...
I am not positive but I want to say 120k. We still have the car, I'll try to remember and check the k's. Easy job to swap an engine in these, providing you have a hoist :)
Just wanted to post pictures of an engine I pulled out of an 06 at work. The licensed mechanic at work diagnosed cylinder 4 was dead.... it was dead alright :chuckle Just a side not too.... ...
Hahaha, I NEVER noticed that! Hilarious
Your problem sounds different than ours was. Did yours shift down to third and stay there until coming to a complete stop? Judging by your write up, it sounds like a bad wire somewhere, or a...
Ahhhhh... So you just replaced the plastic piece so it has the honeycomb texture. I did a full bumper cover swap on my 2004
Did you get the 2008+ style bumper to fit over the 2007- bumper backing junk??
Did you put the speed valence on?
LOL... damn, forgot the price of the beer... so lets round up to $750. I know how to do it now, so maybe I can help with yours for a case of beer :P
The bumper we got used from a member on here for 200, we got the bumper and spoiler painted for $400, and a case of beer for someones assistance to install them. Add $100 for the correct foam...
This is correct... I did this swap with the wifes 04 Hatch... Lemmie get a picture for ya http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2602/4048767080_7710d51958_o.jpg
Thats what I was saying earlier... that and the plastic rebar is 100bux and change
just get an 08 MZ3 bumper and the MS3 valence. The parts to swap bumpers properly are around 100bux if you go to Joe at Toronto Mazda, plus the purchase of the bumper skin itself.
pretty sure that is not removeable, thats the same bumper the wife had. The MS3 valence or difuser will definitely not fit. You need to change the whole bumper skin< then get the MS3...
Oh. so maybe the GT has a different bumper then. Have a picture?
if you have the 04 style, then there is no interchangeable lower piece, just the bumper skin can be changed. You do have the same style as the 2004... so the rear bumper is all one piece. To put a...
Ok I'm confused. I was under the impression that the interchangeable plastic insert at the bottom of the bumper was the valence. If the 06 rear bumper is the same as the 04, you'll need the foam...
I'm going to try and diagnose the problem tomorrow at the shop with the mechanic. He says although it's probably the sensor, it could also be the wiring, or even internal failure. If a bearing is...
I got the same code today, cleared it, and we'll see what happens. Anyone change the TSS themself? Hard job?
No just coffee... Ok, sounds like a case of the mondays
White hatchback (maybe speed3) with lime green wheels at Allen and 401 around 6pm friday night
originals were 16" rims actually 205/55R16
haha... I think 225's will be plenty for the g/f's MZ3. I'll price em up.. I used to have a excel spreadsheet to calculate proper sidewall ratio to keep the same overall tire diameter, but its long...
