    Check the linkage pivot at the transmission. Corrosion was a known issue on the First Gen AT, maybe it could be there too.

    Yes, This is rubber mount, It does shift about that much. Poke it with a screw driver to see if it rotten. I replaced mine with Poly long time ago, was a good upgrade.

    Lucky me. My Mazdas gift is the key is impossible to pull from the ignition cylinder. :bang

    Does Mazda rekey the new cylinders to my key? Or do I end up with two different keys?

    Well that sucked, Cabin Air Filter

    Changed out the Cabin Air Filter today. The thing that sucked, was the first and easiest screw to get on it broke at first touch.!!! :bang
    Leaving only 3 of 4 screws holding the cover. I do not know...

    So just had oil change at MOT on Monday. Sticker in the window says next appointment is Sept. They must be desperate for money to have that short turn around on synthetic. :bang:(

    I have used Amsoil Synthetic Manual Transmission/Transaxle Gear Lube 75W-90 in my old 70's car for about 15Years. The best product for me in an old 4 Speed.
