  1. Re: Broken Hood Latch Cable - can't get hood open now

    Thanks for the reply.

I was able to open the hood by removing the 2 x 10mm bolts that was holding the latch to the car. I went through the front grill with an extension on my socket. You need...
  2. Broken Hood Latch Cable - can't get hood open now

Hi all, looks like my cable broke or disengaged from the latch and now I can't open my hood from the inside pull lever. I google around and I couldn't a definitive way to open it from the outside,...

    Re: Broken Rear Shock Mount....argh!

Fixed it this morning. Went to Can Tire to buy the part (Monroe 906981MM, 122-3928-6) for $50. Part source sells it for cheaper but I can walk to Can Tire. Also picked up an impact wrench and...

    Re: Broken Rear Shock Mount....argh!

I have an extension bar, but my jack lift is too low, when I try to put force on bolt, the bar hits the ground. ah well. I think i'll just source an impact wrench instead.

    Re: Broken Rear Shock Mount....argh!

It looks like an easy fix, I got the two bolts on top off easy, but the one at the bottom is too tight. Not enough clearance to put my breaking bar on it with my jack.

    Any suggestions, should I...

    Broken Rear Shock Mount....argh!

    Hey Guys,
One of my rear shock mounts broke yesterday. I was able to drive it home around 30kms, so hopefully I didn't create more damage.

I've been doing some reading on the forums and since I...

Re: Alarm going off for no reason?

You just need to unplug the connector - it's located where the hood locks into the car, there's a wire in the latch, just follow it, it's under 12" long to the connector, just unplug that. You will...

    Re: Street Performance

Does anyone know if Jimmy fixes A.C. systems? I noticed my ac blows warm sometimes. I usually bring parts for him, do I need to bring items for the ac system recharge?

Re: Weird noise coming from brakes

Maybe check that your lug nuts are tight. When I switched back to all seasons, I had clicking noise coming from the back when I braked lightly, once I tightened the lugs, it was gone...worked for me.

Nice, I picked up one through the RFD group buy - was it hard to do the install for the power magic box? I'm definitely planning to install it this way.
