After having a "built in Mexico" VW Jetta, I would have to agree here.

On the other hand, the Ford Fusion (also built in Mexico) is one of the more reliable cars on the road.

I agree with this. Sold my stock Turanza's for $300 with <2000km on them last fall.

I find the opposite with the Apple OS's. I've got an "Early 2008" iMac 20" with the 2.66 Core 2 Duo (upgraded to 4GB RAM) and I find the speed is improving with every OS update.

Yeah, we actually had an '06 Jetta 2.0T that burned/consumed oil and had electrical gremlins like crazy. Good thing it was a lease. Fantastic drive though.

Really? I just filled up with 2 bars left (as in less than 1/4 tank) at 400km exactly. I do only have 15k on it though, but all highway.
