Re: New Mazda 3 Unveil tonight

The sedan looks fantastic. I like the hatch too, but the fat c-pillars are a bit of a turn-off.

My biggest fear is that AWD will only be available when mated to the 6AT (as is the case with the...

    Re: OEM rims $$$ why?

Keep in mind there's also a point at which it ceases to be negotiation and is just a waste of everyone's time. Imagine trying to sell a mint set of R3 RX-8 rims and getting:

    Then again, those...

    Re: 'major' cancer breakthrough

The sad truth about finding a "cure for cancer".

Hope the drug proves effective against its intended targets, though. Any progress is still progress.
  4. Re: Heart For Hearth 2013 - 800 Mazda3s to set a record - September 22, 2013

Awesome. Nice to see this event being run again - was a blast last year. (You can see me boxed in by four CWPs at the top of the first "M"!)

I'm out of school and working full-time now though, so...

    Re: OEM rims $$$ why?

I think my greatest deal ever was picking up a full set of 2nd gen Speed3 rims for USD$600. Downside was they were in Texas , so shipping costs brought the price up a bunch. No regrets though.

    Re: Motorcycles..

    Holy crap!

Yeah, that makes me thankful to be living in Ottawa. It's just under $1400 for my 400R with full comprehensive, etc. Over 25 too, thank god.

One of my buddies is in a similar...

    Re: Motorcycles..

Ninja 650 was past $2500, which is absolutely bonkers.

I think the key difference between us though is:

I only got my M2 in July last year. Based on what I've seen via online quoters, rates...

    Re: Motorcycles..

    Thanks!

It is indeed the 400 though; got it used with only 1150km for a great price and it had EFI which I wanted. Insurance was also quoted at half that of the 650.

    Should serve me well while...

  10. Re: Cold air intake. what is best vs easiest to install?

If you do decide to go with an intake in the end, I think Kiyomi hit the nail on the head:

I have one too - fairly cheap, sounds great, looks great, incredibly easy to install, easy to clean...

Sticky: Re: 2014 Mazda 3 - Car and Driver

Not a fan of any of the concepts/renders in this thread so far.. Will be waiting with bated breath, hoping that the final product looks better.
  13. Re: How to set the fog lights so they work with the ''Auto'' setting.

The "fog lamps" on our cars are simply accessory driving lamps - true fog lamps (which are actually effective in... well... fog) are yellow and need be turned on independently of the main headlamps. ...

I've been a lot happier on Telus than I was on Rogers, for what it's worth. (although prices are pretty similar between the two)

What about the sexy-as-hell Ninja 300? It thrashes the CBR in pretty much every way imaginable, although it will cost slightly more.
