The head unit on my 08 model died too last year in the winter... Hmm... Not all died... Actually only the CD player kept skipping... Now I am a new fans of 99.9...
Talking about my 2008 hatchback.

I think the same, the 2.5 is a very good spot in the engine line up... Powerful enough, good fuel economy, not expensive, balanced....
However I like the leather,...

Yes, so I feel it strange too.... No reason for that...
As you have some mods on the suspension, that's the only explanation...

I don't think that will make much difference for extra wearing... And if tuned too much, it won't wear evenly...
Plus, Same reason, front wheel drive and cornering will wear the front tires more...
Usually how many ppl in your car? Fully loaded on rear seat?

My front tires wear a lot more than my rear tires... Maybe due to front wheel drive and lots of higher speed turns... Although I lost the last coil on the springs due to rust or some other wears on...
Hmm... I don't understand why we need a set of Ultra High Performence tires for a small size 4 cylinder daily commute car either... It's just over-kill or just wasting money on tires and wasting gas...

I used Potenza before too ( anyway my Mazda 3 is more than 200k now, so I really did use several sets of tires already... ), great handling and comfortable, however tread wears too fast too...
I...
Yep ~ I seconded ~ I used DWS on mine before it's really a good tire,. however looks too much for a non-speed Mazda3, and you wasted gas in pushing this set of tires during daily commute too ~

I think my 'self-adjusting' here only means how high we can pull the handle until it's locked up at a proper position ...
I.e. Usually we can pull the handle up...
Are you guys looking for a set of pure summer tires or good 4 seasons tires ( winter tires in winter of course)?
For 4 seasons tires I just have my first set of Pirelli P7 Plus (91H) last week....
Nice to see everybody here...
I am still driving my 2008 hatchback ~ original engine and tranny. Hit 190k last month, just have the 3rd set of 4 season tires on, stickers on the side changed to...
Should be same for all other models in the same generation right?
I noticed I need to pull the handle a bit high to fully engage the hand brake and I just used the size 10 wrench to adjust it...

I checked the belts prices similar to Agincourt Mazda ( from online, part source, the shop in my last visit to and I used to get my oil changes and other jobs like brakes for many years...).
Then...
