I bought mine used... Who knows how the PO drove. And it was the fronts I replaced. Still had pad life but the rotors were warped and steering wheel was shaking like an sob.

It shouldn't be that brown. The mechanic clearly didn't do the flush right. It won't be clear red, but it will have a reddish tinge for sure... And I can't see any red there at all.
I suppose its possible for it to constantly search for / and receive a signal from the key and thus drain the battery that way. Interesting to note.
