Any moly oil - pennzoil/motul.
Lol my Audi would do this, it's due to pressure build up only happens when the tanks low and it's hot out. Solution is to honestly shake the car push it up and down side to side with the cap off.
Wheel bearings are fine no play, sound does not decrease with load or without. For now new pads seem to have calmed the problem it's has been raining so I wonder if that's helping
OE rotors. Cheap semi metallic pads, sounds like metal to metal almost like drilling into metal with a dull bit lol
This problem is aggravating lol me and jimmy can't seem to figure it out. Hopefully this post brings in new ideas.
When braking there is a droning type noise coming from the front end brakes are...
Anyone have jimmys number? His old one isn't working for me, thanks
Ya I wouldn't waste your money on a wrap, keep it simple and save for when it breaks down or maintainance lol
2009's are petty solid, Rust would be the main thing, but I believe the perforation warranty is 6 years? so it shouldn't matter for the 3 year.
4000 is a good starting point
Just looking at the damage, it won't be worth it to go through insurance, I would say it's a sub 2000$ job, doesn't look like you will need a new bumper cover.
I drive 6 months with summer tires, 6 month with winters, I put about 10-12k every 6 months. Every time it comes to switching over from summer/winter tires I rotate them. Rotating tires every 8k is a...
You should get a carproof not a carfax for canadian cars, a carfax report might not show the accidents that a carproof would.
Vehicles aren't designed to break, they break from lack of maintainance,wear/tear, or improperly manufactured parts.
Best bet is to buy private, you can find one in good shape with service records that is thousands of dollars cheaper than buying from a dealership. It's rare to find a dealer that has service records...
Hard to prevent it, just clay bar the car and put a few coats of wax, it will help. White is the worst colour for showing "rail dust".
It's winter, your fuel economy will suffer regardless, the 2.3L's aren't really that fuel efficient to begin with so 10L/100k is pretty good for winter driving.
Brake rotors is the usual culprit majority of the time, I had a small shimmy when braking, ended up being a busted up wheel bearing. Have a qualified shop inspect it and you'll know 100%.
Never had this happen before, my understanding is there is some kind of moisture inside the car? I looked around and only thing I could find was the drivers/passenger floor mats (carpet floor mats)...
What year RX8? and what year mazdaspeed3? They both have there issues, RX-8 has more lol but its RWD/Sport Coupe/IMO better looking I would go with an RX-8 if you have a thick wallet, if...
Just jack the front end up and spin the wheel you should hear it right away if it's making noise, move it in/out to check for wheel play as well. I would bet on a ****ed up wheel bearing.
Check if your PCV is not clogged as well
I would not pay 1000$ or any were near that for replica wheels, maybe 500 is what they actually worth not sure why people spend 1000 on cheaply made cast wheels. GP = Rota/Drag/(enter all other...
Whats your current mileage?
Those prices look great until HST is added lol btw you forgot to add parts prices.
