Anyone here want to make some extra cash?
If you have a hoist or ramps and wouldn't mind doing a under coat/rust proof let me know.
If not, i'll just have to go to Krown, but I'd rather do it...
I know what my car takes... :loco
I'm not asking that, what I am asking is, the Redline and AMSoil that people are using, is it 5w20?
Because I have yet to FIND 5w20 Redline & AMSoil anywhere.
The RP, Redline and AMSoil that everyone is talking about, is it 5w20 or 5w30?
I have yet to see AMSoil 5w20 and Redline 5w20.
I don't know about that...
I used to work at Toyota, and at that time i had a 2005 Echo RS, and on the oil cap it said 5w30 SL recommended. So I went to the parts counter guy's and asked them if...
AMSoil is the best but hard to find... there is someone on these forums that sell it though, just do a search.
I just switched to Mobil 1 and the only difference i'm noticing right now is the...
"Any car that runs on gas and has a stock or aftermarket turbo uses 91-94 octane."
unless of course you don't care about your car and want your turbo to mess up, then it doesn't matter what fuel...
So why does the throttle body have all this black gunk inside it? The fuel injectors are probably worse. I've experienced this in numerous vehicles and the gas grade does matter. I drove 50 000 km...
Welcome to TM3!!
I'm sure you're loving your new ride and how quiet she is.
I'd recommend using 91 or 94 octane, I purchased my '05 3 like a month ago and my throttle body was black as shit...
Welcome to TM3!!
I agree with the others. You need to take those seat covers off. I'm pretty sure the original seats look nicer then those seat covers, unless you're worried about damaging them....
but it's too bad they don't. They should, but then again, all the dealership wants to do is make money, just like everyone else... sigh... lol
That's what the dealership recommends but I've worked on cars and have spoken to numerous techs at numerous dealerships (Toyota, Canadian Tire, Mazda, GM, Porshe, VW) they all say to take out the...
Really? I didn't know that? that's crazy info... good looking out!!
I've worked at a Canadian Tire Express Lube for 4 years and have always done my own oil changes. Not once have I ever used a torque wrench and not once has any car i worked on had problems. As long...
Flagrum_3 you said it the best!!!
Synthetic oil is the way to go... nothing but the best for baby!!
:bana:bana2
does Pat sell cross drilled rotors too?
Can you guy's provide pricing?
Thanks
You should actually do your 1st oil change ASAP, before 3000-4000k. You want to get rid of the original oil and put in something more fresh.
Synthetic is the best way to go, the sooner the...
It's all about getting the best gas mileage now that prices are above a $1.00 per litre.
My fuel light just came on at 615km and i'd say 70-80% of that was highway driving. Not bad, I personally...
Manual all the way... Better Gas mileage (saves you $$$), better accelaration off the line, it's more fun, you save money on brakes and tranny services. ie. Transmission fluid flush, transmission pan...
:lock
Congrats on your new ride. I totally agree with you, the M3's are way more fun then any civic. I've driven '83 civics up too '08 civics, stock, moded, but I'd still take the 3 over it. I...
I'm going to NY at the end of the month, so i'ma check out some prices down there.
But I will check out some local places to compare prices. I'm not really in a rush for it.
Not too bad guys...
I'm going to NY at the end of the month and it's 800km to Times Square. I can't wait!! :chuckle
There is another thread for fuel economy under Engine/Drivetrain.
I'm at half a tank right now, and I got just a bit over 400km 90% highway/10% city, but I'm also using Shell V-Power 91 octane. I...
