    Re: iPod integration questions

Update - I went with the GTA Car Kit. No Bluetooth, but I'm okay with that.

    Re: iPod integration questions

    Bringing up an old thread.

    2006 Mazda3.

I'm looking for an iPod/iPhone adapter kit that also has bluetooth. I found this:

    Does...
  3. Re: After a few years, one HID is not working (kit) - Help

Not quite. It turns on normally when it is working. It doesn't flicker at all when it isn't working - it just doesn't come on. But I agree on the ballast.
  4. Re: After a few years, one HID is not working (kit) - Help

    Okay, here's the update.

I attempted to remove the bulb. I couldn't figure out that metal clip, so I never got it out. Put the rubber gasket back on. Started the car. Turned on the...
  5. Re: After a few years, one HID is not working (kit) - Help

Hey Ryan! Thanks for the help. I will hit you up on WhatsApp (found you there). We have to catch up. I still have the old PMs where we were meeting up for these bulbs.

    I will tackle it today....
  6. Re: After a few years, one HID is not working (kit) - Help

Awesome info. First step is to figure out if it is the bulb or ballast. I'll be tackling this tonight. I know what a PITA changing the headlight bulbs are on this car, so I'm not looking forward...
  7. Re: After a few years, one HID is not working (kit) - Help

I don't recall hearing clicking before the light blew. I'll have to investigate that further.

I doubt it is a blown fuse. But all possibilities should be considered. Thanks.
  8. Re: After a few years, one HID is not working (kit) - Help

    Swapping the bulbs. Good idea.

I don't hear any clicking. Is that a good sign?
  9. After a few years, one HID is not working (kit) - Help

I did email MacGuyver as he installed these for me a few years back. I'm not sure of his current status and availability, so I thought I would post here too.

    Hope to fix this fast.

    I have...

    Re: Pizza delivery ... tips?

I disagree. Delivery charges are nothing new. They are un-related to the driver's tip. The pizza place gets the delivery charge. The driver gets the tip. So you're stiffing the driver.

Street Unit Rear Mount and Clunk! Clunk!

First of all... HELLO! It's been a looooooong time since I've been on here. The family and work takes up all of my time. :) I'm going to try to visit more often though.

    On to the problem...

Re: Anyone see Dark Knight IMAX??

I liked it in IMAX. Although I agree that there weren't enough IMAX scenes. But at least you get the IMAX sound which is amazing.

    custom embroidered caps

Does anyone know of a place (preferably in the Steeles/Don Mills area) that does walk-ins for a couple of caps? I used to have a card for a place in scarborough but I can't find it.

  18. Re: New problem with my car. Clicking sound as I am driving

If it is a repetitive ticking, I wonder if it is a bad switch that is shorting when the seat belt sensor is engaged?

Re: GPS units blocking car windshield illegal

No, what he was saying is that the warning warns against driving while using the GPS. It doesn't say that. It warns against adjusting the GPS while driving. :)

Re: Who does their own oil change?

I have always changed the oil on my cars myself. The 2.3 cartridge filter is the dumbest design ever.

The reason I do it myself has nothing to do with price. I spend a lot of money on Mobil-1...

Re: GPS units blocking car windshield illegal

Good point. The way that the HTA is worded, it would make mounting 407ETR transponders on the windshield illegal.
  23. Re: how does my insurance go up if they didnt take an abstract of my driving record

It happens all the time. Rates went up for pretty much everyone this time around. Although $20/month is a little high.
