The outer gasket around the push button for the trunk cracked. Not sure how it happened but I had it...
2011 GX Sport Automatic. I don't do specific l/100km just from the tank. Hwy I get about 40-50kms per "dot" while city is 20-30kms per "dot". The auto usually shifts betwen 2.5-3.5k RPMs in the city....
Pure city driving in my 2011 I get about 305kms to the last dot on the gas tank. Much less than highway which is about 400-500km with winter gas and snow tires. Although you rack up the KMs much...
That is pretty impressive! With our snow tires on, and mainly city driving, we usually get around 8-9L/100Kms with it dropping lower on the highway. Still not too bad compared to larger cars and...
The review continues at 24,000 a few months shy of our 1 year anniversary. The car is still driving great and there is really nothing to complain about.
Even in the few really cold days we have...
So it appears that we may have our first problem with the car. Over the last few days it seems as though our "aux" button has stopped working. With or without an mp3 player plugged in, the button...

Now at 16.5k Kms and everything I posted in the first review still applies. The car is still great to drive, and still feels brand new.
To answer the questions, we haven't heard any rattles yet...
Thanks for that, I missed that thread. Awesome to know that the colour will be a unique colour!
Hi Everyone,
Back in April we purchased our car (thread).
Now after 4 months, I figured I would do a review. I'll probably make this an ongoing thread, detailing my on going thoughts of the...
Where did you hear that they are discontinuing the Gunmental Blue colour? I hadn't heard that at all.
Welcome! We also have a Gunmental Blue (Sport GX). Enjoy it! One thing I would recommend is...

Welcome :) Any pictures of your new purchase? What colour?
We just picked up ours last night and I agree with the applause for Jeff, he is the best.
Just picked up our car last night from Jeff. Spectacular service (despite the rain and snow). Quick, easy, painless. Nice to have the freedom a car provides, and the sportiness of the Mazda 3.

With the amount of equipment in the GX level, we didn't feel the additional cost of the GS trim was worth it, especially with the worse fuel economy. Cruise control would have been nice, but we...
Yea, we did a lot of test driving, both the hatch and sedan, and all the trim levels as well. We also rented the Mazda 3 sedan one weekend as well. We test drove the new Sonata, Elantra, Accent,...
Thanks again for the responses :) I think the hardest part now is the wait.
Quick question: should I get Krown done now, to prevent any dirt build up? Or wait until this coming fall?
Thanks for all the replies :)
We were thinking of getting Krown and tinting for sure, a person I work with should be able to get me tinting done cheap (husband is a mechanic and knows people).

Hey everyone,
My name is Troy Stewart and I've been a lurker for quite some time, but now that I have graduated school I am purchasing a Mazda 3 Sport! Thanks to this forum, and RFD, I have...
I assume you are wanting the sedan then? The main reason the Elantra is not on my radar is because it does not have the hatch option yet. From what I have read the Elantra Touring will be updated...
