I have the CX-30 GT Turbo. The torque fells pretty great in normal driving, if you're interested in the turbo 3 you should take a test drive of one. That's what led me to buy this thing (I'm too tall...

It's dependant on what your stock tire size is. Some models of 3 have brakes that won't clear smaller rims. E.G. 2013 GS+ trims need at least 16" rims. As long as the total diameter is close it...
I have a 2021 CX-30 Turbo (same powertrain and platform) and I haven't experienced anything like this. Performance has been rock solid over the last year+ I've owned it.
Yeah, weird isn't it. The only possible reason I can think of is that that accent lighting isn't bright enough to be considered a DRL by Canadian law or possibly laws in some other country and they...
I believe the 4th gen, like my CX-30, has LED headlights that do not have bulbs. You'd have to pull the fuse for the headlights to achieve what you're asking for, but then you lose headlights.
Truely amazing, what you've done with that car.
I think it's cool, but since I bought this Turbo mini SUV thing I'm not too likely to tune it, 250HP and 320 torque is a lot for something like this. Although I may change my mind 5 years from now,...
The 2010-2011 Mazda 3 GX, with exactly the same engine and transmission was rated for 5W20. That's probably why they made the mistake. Wouldn't have made a difference.
Any competent 3rd party garage should be able to change the transmission or get it rebuilt for much less than $6000. Frankly, I think they're telling you they don't want the job. Dealership service...
It does not, only the GT comes with "advanced keyless entry", which is what Mazda calls that feature. Lower trims get regular keyless entry (a button on the fob).
This happened to me with my old 2010, stopped after I cleaned the latch for the tailgate.
I'm with him ^^ clean the latches.
If you can't find one, I looked into it a while back and found that used fairly low mileage MZR engines (mostly from crashed cars) are very easy to get for < $2000. It's also possible buying one...
One of my friends has a 2020 Corolla hatchback, the interior is pretty nice and it has a independant rear suspension, unlike the current 3. If I were in your position I might consider a Hyundai...
I think Mazda's is going for volume and manuals don't sell well anymore. But there are already good options, like the Civic Type-R, Veloster N, Golf GTI/R.
Motor mounts, shocks. Also for 2010+ the GT had a 2.5 engine.
I think the lack of a current MS3 to move up to has a lot to do with that.
+1 never go to Canadian Tire for mechanical problems, go to a real mechanic or even a stealership before CT.
For anyone looking through old posts for this problem, I looked into swapping the halogens for HIDs on my old 2010 Mazda 3 GX. The wiring harness is definitely different.
Also remember your car will ride stiffer with larger rims/less sidewall.
I know I do.
$1500 repair with 200k and needs new tires? I'd dump it.
However, if that's the dealer price, you might get a better one from an independent mechanic. Might be worth asking around.
I didn't have any rust at all on my 2010 with over 120,000km, not even if I climbed under the thing. Maybe I sold it in time? I drove it all winter. I think it's luck of the draw more than anything,...
Kinda too late now (11-year old car), and the Mazda rust problem is perforation rust so no rustproofing will help.
A Mazda 3 is a lot more practical than a CR-Z, so it's the right choice for most...
It's definitely the manual transmission. I had no trouble at all selling my 2010 Mazda 3 Sport GX with an automatic transmission and 180,000km last year. I don't think the trim line is that...
You're not likely to get lug nuts for much less than $20. I'd side with the previous poster and say you should check out a real wheel and tire shop where you will likely find better quality lug nuts....
